I had her for a 2 hour core class and I don't think we ever stayed for more than 45 mins. I thought she was an easy grader but overall boring and unable to keep discussion going in class. For core it was nice but I don't think I'd want her as a teacher for a real class.

Comment:

She is a very nice person, but she does not always make it clear what the assignments are or what she expects from the students. I had her for Core, so there were a lot of classroom discussions. There were always awkward silences because she struggled to keep the students engaged. Overall a very intelligent yet distant professor.

She is a very poor leader in the class. I wish I had not wasted my time in her class. Her explanation is very poor even though she does her best to do so, but she can not give what she does not have. You'll learn nothing in her class. Usually she invites her students to her house to have them blinded of her poor performance and explanation.

Not a great discussion leader and often had to repeat her questions so we understood them. Really helpful when she reviewed papers. She let us get off topic a LOT too!

She should have taught pols 340 also. You learn a lot from her class, she makes you want to study the material. I had a lot of motivation to read and do the work in 341. Feel sorry for those who have to take both 340 & 341 with Baas.

Really nice lady but, very hard class, but you will get used to the material once you continually read the cases over and over. She will grade pretty rough but, you must pay attention to everything she says especially when giving instructions for quizzes and exams. Great instructor and class, though!!

Her discussions were probably a little more structured than I would have liked, but other than that I have nothing but good things to say about her. She's always friendly, is forgiving with late assignments, teaches in a dorm, and brings the class donuts on Fridays.

awesome professor, worth every minute of class, doesnt work you too hard and her door is always open. brings donuts to class, teaches in a dorm, what could be better?
