I love Dr. Kihlstrom! Definitely my favorite professor and class so far. He is funny and has great demonstrations to make class entertaining. Sometimes he will tease students, but if he does that means he likes you. Class is hard because physics is hard. There are lots of extra credit opportunities with iClicker questions and egg drop competition.

Dr. Kihlstrom is an amazing guy. Being in his class is so much fun. He loves telling jokes, sometimes at a student's expense (so be prepared to have an optimistic view and a sense of humor). He also loves telling stories, and he has great in-class demonstrations.

Clear on what you need to master for tests. Great guy and gives so many points for effort and work shown even if your final answer is completely wrong. Class is tough, but that's because physics is tough.

Kihlstrom is AWESOME! He is the most hilarious & down to earth professor i've ever had. He does demos that make class exciting. His tests are pretty difficult, however, they have crazy curves! To be specific, I got 37100 on my first exam & passed with a C! He's very helpful and always available! If you can, take him!

By far my favorite professor. He is hilarious! The demos were awesome (fire walking, blow darts, throwing eggs off the library roof, etc) and he made me actually want to attend class. Exams are not too difficult and he gives partial credit on most things if you try. I recommend this class to fufill the GE requirement.

He's got that wonderful dark sense of humor. Any teacher who takes you to the top of the library and says "This is the good place to finish the job if you fail your midterm." is a good one.

Had him my very first semester at 8am for science, which i don't like much; but i still loved his class. He made everything so interesting. We made ice cream with liquid nitrogen! Any other GE science class at 8 i probably would have cut at least 1/3 of the classes but i made it to almost every single one with Kihlstrom.

Kihlstrom is a very charismatic teacher; chances are you'll enjoy his class even if you hate physics. The downside to this, however, is that he wastes too much time telling anecdotes. Also, he has a tendency to jump right into a problem in his lectures, leaving you clueless.
