Fiction As A Genre. One of the best classes I have ever taken. She is incredible. The class is awesome. The texts are great. I loved everything about this class. She will change your life. Important things: Show up and participate; Do the reading; Don't let the writing assignments sneak up on you. If you do that you will love the class.

Dr. Reed is an excellent professor. She really loves literature and English, and she is open to hear students' opinions in class. She is very helpful for anything you need. This class has lots of reading homework, but it is lit studies. :) Her classes are fun, so take her!

Kim Reed is great. I had her for Honors English Lit and i'm not an English person. I loved her class and she really helped me out. Her class is not easy, but she'll help you make the grade you want if you're willing to work. Highly recommend her as a teacher. Her class is still one of my favorites i've taken in college.

I've had Dr. Reed for 3 of my English courses at LU and loved all three to death. She is a very good lecturer, but even better at fostering in-class discussion. She loves her students and makes it a common practice to invite them over to her home for dinner. She's amazing and definitely worth taking.

Dr. Reed had to come in for the last third of my World Lit class because the previous teacher got sick suddenly. Even having to take over under such odd circumstances, she absolutely ROCKED. Since that semester I've been eagerly awaiting a chance to take one of her classes again. She's the best in the department, and that's saying quite a lot.
