Thanks to Prof Kaiser, math is now my favorite subject. He gives very thorough lectures. He has the most soothing voice which will either enthrall you or put you to sleep. Homework isn't graded. He doesn't try to trick you in his tests. No office hours but has workshop and review day. On a side note, he is incredibly sexy and good-looking.

I only want to take math classes from Kaiser. He loves Mathematics and you can tell by his teaching style. I hope he will teach 95 again. I started at Math E and he really helped me through the semesters I had with him. I actually love math! (now)

Kaiser doesn't care about attendance, he really believes if you want to be there you will be. Ironically it's always the students who do well that end up staying for his workshops, and the people who don't need help end up leaving early. I took his accelerated version of Math 860 and loved how quickly it went by. Literally a semester cut in half

Why has no-one rated Leo Kaiser!! Well he is an amazing prof. He has incredible knowledge of mathematics and it's history. He is clear and has a "free day" if you have questions he sits with you as an individual and goes over the prob. step by step. Highly recommended.

He is one of the top five best instructors I've had in my college career (completed BS in engineering). I'm not that great at math, but he made differential equations easy. Class lectures were very useful. He is a great speaker and explains the concepts and equations clearly. The exams are based on his lectures. I highly recommend this instructor.

Prof Kaiser is as thorough and knowledgeble as Math teachers get at CCSF. I hadn't taken math for 3 years before taking his class and I still got an A due to his laid back teaching style and thorough explanations of the material. He's GREAT!

Okay, I took two Math 860 classes from two different teacher and I got a D and an F on each of them. Kaiser teaches EXCEPTIONALLY! He helps you understand concepts and gives many examples. He's really an amazing teacher. I have an A in the class and I get everything now. Seriously, all teachers should be like this guy. He's great.

840 math students tend to whine on ratemyprofessor because they dont get good grades. If you would put some time and effort into it you will learn, otherwise you lose.

Kaiser is highly qualified with high credentials from elite universities. He knows his math very well and is able to teach it very well. He likes to make lots of analogies which may or may not be helpful for you. I would advise not missing class, his lectures are key to understanding the material.

I think that he is an excellent instructor. He explains in a very concise, clear, and consistent way. Very approachable and easy going. He will not give you extra credit and the grade is based on test only. Homework is up to the student and not collected.

This teacher's horrible. Makes a standard problem appear more complicated than what it is. 100% of the grade is based on exams, no h.w collected. Useless in helping students understand the work, no handouts, or office hours. Examples given do not help in the homework sets. Speaks really quietly. Be warned!

This was the worst experience. No office hours, no extra help. Sink or swim. This is unfortunate because if you need to take Math 840, you need a little more understanding of the material.

very calm and comprehensive lectures! he maximizes time and stays on schedule, avoiding catch up crunch lectures. you are only expected to recount what was covered in class! he assigns homework that is helpful but not mandatory! i have had great math teachers at city college but Lee Kaiser would be my 1rst choice if given the option again.

This teacher focuses alot on the concept, rather than the algebra. And i feel that sometimes he is holding some information back. Maybe he doesn't want to make it confusing.
