This man was my professor at dccc for 2 calculus classes and diff eq. Hes an honest man who is passionate about his work. Through my 3 classes with him we became friends and spoke often. Just wanted to throw my two cents in and let everyone know that he is one of my most respected professors.

This teacher does not teach you anything, All he does is sit in class and talk about his cat.Teach your self and hope that you understand the material on your own. He also doesn't care to help you out or give any extra credit to help you out.when he does write on the board, which is a miracle, his wrong half of the time. DO NOT Take him.

1stable, I liked this teacher because its an easy A class. If you take him, you will not learn anything from him, however you have to teach yourself. He doesn't give lot questions on the test. he believes that if you can do one then you can do the rest. so like me, if you want an easy A, then take him. Also you have to be good in math for that A:)

Worst teacher. Refuses to help when you ask for it. Tells you he doesnt have time to "hold your hand" if you go to him during office hours. Simply doesnt care about the students and their success.

If you wanna learn, and not be stressed out during your semester don't take him. He grades on a curve and his motto is "You don't need to get 90+ to get an A, you just have to do better than the person with the highest grade." Meaning if you want to pass just don't be last.

Worst Professor you can take for Calc 1 or 2. Goes off on many tangents and never really clearly explains how to do anything. With him, it's self taught class, but for someone that has trouble in calc and needing all the help you could get, this guy is the worst possible professor to sign up for. Waste of money and time. Go for another Professor

Yeah, it's pretty much a self-taught class, but can be an easy A. His tests are a modified version of the practice tests in the book. Just show up the class before a test and he more or less gives you the answers.

This is a self teaching class for sure. Even though I got an A for the class, I would recommend that anyone who needs a teacher to actually show them the processes behind the subjects sudied in calculus not take this teacher. You are basically on your own for this class. Attendance is not mandatory, and half of my class only showed up for tests.

well, he's definitely entertaining and goes off on tangents. his class was more of a group independent study rather than a class - you do a lot on your own and that isn't for everyone. he is very fair and really smart. probably a better teacher for 'returning students' rather than those fresh out of highschool.

This guy is a joke, he goes off on tangents, and then he goes on tangents of the tangents. He doesnt teach math, and if on a rare occasion he tries to explain how to do a problem, he leaves you lost. It's a complete waste of money to take his class in my opinion. and At dccc he is seen standing in the court yard smoking a pipe

The worst teacher ever.WARNING:STAY AWAY!It's time for him to retire.He is slow,never answers any of your questions,and makes class boring.He doesn't really teach,it's hard to understand what he is saying. He pretty goes off on tangents like a senile person. As charming as his little stories may have been, It's not what I want to hear at 8 o'clock in the morning when I'm trying to learn objectives in order to pass the class. You pretty much have to learn from the book which sucks because why am I paying to teach myself? only +: cheat sheets.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. Unless you have a very strong Math background/are an autodidact, he's pretty much useless. He doesn't teach anything, goes off tangents, and spent an entire class talking about pie. The baked treat, not 3.14. When I asked questions about the lessons he called on my and continued talking about tobacco prices. DO NOT TAKE.

I think it takes a different type of person to teach calc. and I think he does it better than most. Calc is not something you can just write on the board, nor is it something you get correct each try. He gets his points across you just need to THINK!

What everyone has said is true, he does not teach, he does not write on the board,he does let you use a cheat sheet. There is no review sheet so you could still fail a test becuse you don't know what to write on the cheat sheet.This class recommend for people with strong math background but if you have that study pay the 50-65 dollars and test out
