I took this class online, and it was easy.You have 1-3 assignments due each week and a 15 question quiz which was easy. I never saw him, but he is a good guy, very nice. The book is mandatory, dont rely on the book in the lab, it was stolen twice this semester! Overall easy and fun class, I would recommend it to anyone. Also, no midterm or final!!

Instruction is given in class - sometimes may be completed during class time. If on budget, just purchase student access code. Lab has plenty of books for use. He is best for people who already know the material and just need a grade. If you don't know the material then don't expect to know it after the class. He also brings his dogs to class because he uses the school to train the dogs which he sells. If you are allergic he won't care so don't bother taking his class.

i'm taking his online class and I never see him but his class is ok. Its like taking CIS 1a all over again as well as taking CIS 80. If you do everything, you'll be able to pass. Right now, I got a "B" so far and we still got one month left.

I took the class online. I don't recommend it, and don't recomment taking it during a winter or summer session. It takes time to learn C++, and I was lucky enough to have a computer wiz in the class to help me. He will help you if you ask, but the quizzes were really hard, even if you read the text. I guess he was okay...

Great instructor; very interested in his students learning experience. He really helped me get through the class by taking interest in helping. The material was out of my league, but I came away with new knowledge. Didn't care for the textbook; but great instructor/instruction.

If you get A's on the tests he will no matter what say you were cheating. He was very rude during his office hours. I got an A on the final and A's on the exams and did all the work and gave me a C in the dang class. That teacher should be fired right off the bat. Big mistake taking this teacher.

Professor Hall is extremely knowledgable in the subject matter. He goes out of his way to help students that are having difficulty. He makes sure that students understand the concept of C++. I will take him for CIS 17B and CIS 17C as well.
