EVERYTHING you do is online. But it is an easy A. When you ask a question, she NEVER answers the right question. She gives you everything you need to learn, but you need to study on your own if you want to learn German. BUT you literally don't need to do ANYTHING to pass. Skip class. The exams are online....

She was Ok. I knew a little German before attending the class and I did learn a lot, but if something went wrong with the computers than we the student would be sent down the river for the day. It's an ok class, my advice, don't tell her what your major is because I told her my major is programming and she had a million computer questions.

She was totally useless. I took 5 years of German in high school so I knew what was going on, but for people who haven't had any german out of college don't take. She's hard to understand and made me dread going to her class.

She makes this class extremely easy. I already took 2 years of german prior so I was able to use my prior knowledge to sail through this class. I can't say I learned any German, but since a foreign language is an OU requirement and I had no desire to take anymore German I'm glad I took this professor for a no thrill easy class.

If you are taking German for the first time, do NOT take her class. You will not learn. Her teaching style is inadequate for language acquisition. She skips over essential basic concepts that you will need in future classes. Her accent when she speaks German is also a bit odd. Relies too heavily on online resources. Take Schaible instead.

You honestly need to put more effort into failing than passing. The textbook she makes you buy for GRM 114/115 is very expensive, you need it, and you can't resell it because of the online registration junk and basically forces you to attend another semester with her (114&115 use the same book). Couldn't learn with her, I'm getting Rosetta Stone.

She is a really really nice lady, but nice doesn't always make a good professor. She wants you to succeed so bad that she is willing to have you pass without actually learning too much. I like learning german so I like the class but you're better off taking it online because EVERYTHING is done online anyways.

I don't know what a lot of these people are talking about. This is one of the easiest classes in the world. I went through 114 and 115 and I don't know one word of German and got a 4.0 in both . The work is done online and you do the work get it wrong and you get the answers and do it over again. Tests easy and the pre final is the same as final.

I do not recommend her at ALL. Not only are you going to dread going to her class, you're not going to learn anything. You have to teach yourself. You can understand her and all, but shes just not a good teacher. Her tests are easy and open book. if you're taking a grm class beyond 114. take someone else!!

The class had a ton of homework every week and we covered a lot of material in a short amount of time. Our final was take home which was nice, but didn't really improve the class a whole lot. If you've had german before I'd say take the class, otherwise you might want to reconsider.

An embarrassment to an otherwise excellent German department. You will basically have to teach yourself German as she gets frustrated easily when you ask for help. Getting a good grade is actually not that hard if you put in the effort though. If you stick through with German, the 200 and 300lv profs are 100x better than Eghtedari.

Horrible teacher. I had taken German before my whole high school career and learning it all over again, she doesn't know how to teach it. It confuses me! She is not clear at all. You have homework everyday, online book, lang. lab & you basically teach have to teach yourself...you commit a lot to this class and get nothing out of it.

This has got to be the worst teacher I've ever come across! She doesn't lecture and if she attempts to you can't understand what she is saying because she weezes it out! I dropped the class because I didn't have a clue as to what we were even studying. If you haven't had prior German experience, you will flounder in this class.

Total disaster! Only prof that teaches German in the evenings. She talks too fast, makes little sense and gets irritated far too easily. Personally, I won't be taking German any further at OU because of her.

I took introductory German to try something new. I really regret it now. This professor makes it somewhat difficult to succeed. She doesn't make much clear in class and goes way to fast! Often activities become repetitive, and she doesn't really try to make learning fun. She relies a bit too much on online stuff like e-workbooks etc.

ugh, this prof is terrible... she talks fast, loses breath and then changes subjects. she finds everything funn and its worthless... easy A but she makes you send out this envelope and you get this huge script back of english subtitles cause nothing is in english =[
