Comment:

Although Lindsay is a knowledgeable and successful ecologist in her own right, I found that she did not give clear instructions and was often unavailable for help. She complains about being busy a lot and will not answer emails. She also will not follow through if you ask her to do something. But she will teach you to work hard and pay attention.

Lindsay is a one of a kind professor. She is funny, informative and has a way with her students. She is very clear from the start of this class that it is going to be tough and she expects a lot from you. If you put in the work, the class is not that hard, but do not expect to breeze through this class.

She can be a little intimidating but I think that's just because she's the kind of person you want to make a good impression to. Her class was the highlight of my first semester in college. The book can be irritating at times but the class is so rich and amazing. 10/10.

She's extremely well-versed on the topics we cover.. she seems to really care about her field. I would recommend her classes to anybody relatively interested in Wildlife/Conservation studies :) She also throws in some humor-- if you're paying attention enough you might catch it.

Awesome prof! She will help you with anything but makes you work your butt off! Class took a lot of time and effort but if you emailed her, she would email right back with a lot of suggestions. Super nice, can't wait to go with her to Africa in INT 475!

Lindsay is an amazing teacher...you will work your butt off but it will stick with you during your career. I think I ended up with her for 8 courses and I don't regret a second of the time I spent in them.
