Comment:

This teacher was really helpful. She always waited for us to catch up before she went ahead in her notes and then wrote detailed notes that she emailed to us so we always had notes to review in case we missed something. Tests were mostly multiple choice but you have to show your work.

Comment:

Probably the worst teacher I have ever taken at Elcamino.. If you want to pass this course, STAY CLEAR!! She's extremely unclear in lectures, writes super fast, lazy(shortcuts), and doesn't explain at all. She has stupid mini quizzes that make no sense, and all she ever talks about is her ex-husband. Luckily we had a sub come in and take her spot!

She breaks down math in a very doable and simpler method. Her tests were short and based off the lectures so if you go to class everyday, it should be an easy A. The only downside were the online homeworks and quizzes. Doesn't assign too much homework and she's a fair grader.

While the teacher her self is not bad and shows you many ways of doing stuff she tried to teach too much without giving enough time to adjust to one way which causes some students confusion So for future students make sure you learn one way to do an equation perfectly that will always get you to your answer . then learn how to do it another way

Great statistics teacher! I hear a lot of bad things about this teacher but none of it is true. She can be a little disorganized, but she literally re-writes notes for the class. And compared with other professors, she doesn't over-load her class with information or rush through the subject. she gives mini quizes with re-dos. highly recommend her!

This teacher should not have a teaching lisense. She moves way too fast and her style of teaching is unclear. She takes double points off of test if you don't answer a question and leave it blank. She rambles on and on, without giving you a chance to comprehend. Class was full at the beginning of the semester and now half way empty. Don't recommend

She really cares about the progress of her students and is super helpful. She goes an extra mile especially when you go to her office hours. If math isn't your strong point I would definitely recommend her.

She is a caring professor and that was what I enjoyed the most. If the class did not understand she would slow things down to make herself clear where we could understand. She is very helpful which was great because I was horrible with math. I can say I actually learned in her class.

yes, she can be pretty unorganized but she has this teachin style that is very chill and laid back. Just go with the flow inher class and don't stress out over the last minute changes she makes. You will be fine in the ends because her tests are so easy and dumbed down so much. She asks you to identify stuffrather than solving things on test. Easy!

I don't care for her. She is very unorganized and posts homework assignments at the last minute for us to finish the week of the test. There is no set structure, she gave us the syllabus almost in the middle of the semester and covers previous topics she already discussed, so it's really hard to know what to study. If you need structure, avoid.

I truly enjoyed this class. I looked forward to learning something new each day. During the last few weeks the content sped up tremendously but I did enjoy being challenged. Every time I had a question it was answered, and she was extremely approachable and easy to talk to. If you enjoy advancing in understanding math, this professor is for you.

her class is relatively easy.i dont know if she does this every semester but her final was ridiously hard and I MEAN HARD. i got A's on all her previous tests(which were easy) and her final was nothing like the previous materials.Overall, she is lenient(she will give points for work) and also picky(you can get the right answer and still get -0.5)

she wasnt very good. She was really unorganized, lost a lot of tests and didnt explain some things other teachers did. Left knowing how to do the problems but without having a deeper understanding of the material. Her tests are easy, but she loses them sometimes. overall not that good. i dont recommend her.

Best teacher ever!im really bad at math and i got a B. she was really helpful and showed new ways to do the problems. all the homework is online with "help me solve this" and "example" options. all quizes are online and you can do them as many times as you want until you get 100% shes easy to talk to and all around the best teacher!

The bad: Online homework videos have a different teaching method than in class, so it gets confusing. The good: She's a very sweet teacher, generous on grading and giving second chances, options to make up for work, extending HW deadlines. Tests are usually about as hard as the homework, but not easier. Will talk to students.

I have an A and didnt learn a thing all semester. Sweet person, however extremely unorganized and careless about her students. She makes good grades very easy but if you need to move on to the next level with a decent understanding DO NOT TAKE.

She is a pretty easy teacher. She goes off on tangents talking about her family a lot and she makes jokes that aren't really funny. She isn't there probably once or twice every few weeks which is nice. The tests aren't too hard either. Even if you aren't great at math you can get at least a B if not an A in this class.

She has interesting and helpful ways of explaining things that may have been harder to understand in the past She is not a good teacher to take if math is part of your major, you should only take her if you dont want a strong background in math
