When we started class it was approximately around 20 students and once the semester was over only 6 students were left . He gives you a lot of homework, quizzes and canvas discussions. Also for the test he doesnt give partial credit. Avoid him if you can!

You teach yourself through ALEKS. The worst math professor Ive had by far. He moved fast through chapters and wont answer questions because the explanation is on the board.

Littrell has progressed a lot. For DE he definitely is my first choice. Lecture notes have every detail needed for the scenarios given on tests. He writes in so much detail and color coding that you wont have questions because of his clarity, but he can answer anything that will come out of your mouth. Good professor, good job Littrell.

his tests are hard, lengthy and barely gives you anytime for extra credit, however for his online class they were multiple choice exams, so its possible to get As on your exams but be prepared to study each section that he says he will be testing you on. Youre going to have to read the book and teach yourself, this class will really test you.

I don't recommend taking his online class. He is a hard grader, and there are quizzes for each chapter that aren't mandatory. Exams are worth 60% of your grade. Won't expect to take his classes again.

I passed with an A+, but I basically taught myself. His exams are pretty easy if you did your homework and he doesn't mind answering and clarifying any questions you may have. He also gives you plenty of opportunities to gain some extra credit. It's a lot of work, but if you're willing to go through that, then you should have no problem passing.

I didn't find his lectures very helpful, and his writing can be difficult to read so I recommend sitting in the front. I didn't like how exams were pushed forward too much(after Thanksgiving) and he took forever to grade them. Also, his exams are long and while there is extra credit, you barely have enough time for it. Proceed with caution.

I took him in summer and it was great. I don't think it's fair to say that he's a terrible professor. You have to study hard and understand the lessons in order to get A. He does care for his students. He created a lot of videos on Youtube which is very helpful. After each test, he provided us feedback after each exam also. Overall, he's great.

Terrible instructor, teacher, and professor. Has no regard for students' comments andor concerns. Be prepared to learn by yourself. Very detailed and extensive syllabus; yet very useless. Would not recommend. Steer clear "ASAP."

I am not so hot at math. But this professor was able to explain it decent. You NEED the calculator for this class TI-84. You are allowed to use calculator and one sheet of notes for the tests. LOTS of homework online, on mymathlab. If you put in the work you will get a good grade. Good Luck.

Mark Littrell's lectures are not very clear therefore I had to go to the tutor at rio for help. This level of math is very difficult but I felt that Mr. Littrell can spend more time making his lectures better. He knows linear algebra and math VERY WELL. I would avoid this teacher for higher level math.

Professor Littrell is VERY knowledgable in mathematics. He knew Linear Algebra like the back of his hand, never stuttered during his lectures, and would easily answer any questions he was asked. The exams are lengthy but doable. As long as you pace yourself on the exams you will earn a decent grade in the course. Should've taken him for MATH 70.

Don't rely on the cheat sheets he lets you use, because it doesn't help. It's really hard to ask for help because he asks you to email him the problem and it takes a day to reply. So if you have three questions on ONE problem, it'll take three days to finally understand it. To pass the class, I did ALL the odd problems in the book.

This teacher does one thing. Puts together a good syllabus and that's it. He is no help and gives no further direction. Pick another teacher! if you are not even relatively good at math, you WILL fail his class.

This guy loves to keep you a 1 or 2 mins after class should ends. No breaks. He just does math problems the whole class with no instructions on how to do it or understand it. Math Dean, please reevaluate this prof.

I'm good with math, though Stats has always been a bit of a struggle for me but this class was extremely difficult. Not the material, but in which the material was explained. Littrell's teaching method was very confusing. The program used was slightly confusing as well. I didn't drop though I should have and now I have to retake. I don't recommend.

Perfect recipe for failure. If you are taking other classess, forget about his classes. You will NOT have time for all the work and probably will withdraw or fail your classes all together. Will not recommend this professor, not even to my worse enemy. Do yourself a favor stay away from his classes.
