I learned so much about the Religion of Islam and the misconceptions that people have. I was quite surprised to find out closely related the belief systems are with Christianity. Can't say enough about this course! Love it! There was so much information, this course could easily be extended to an advanced class to delve deeper into the subject.

The class is an easy A as long as you show up. The class isnt meant to be hard, but to teach you about Islam. The class teaches about Islam, its worshipers, its culture, its community, etc. This isnt a class you absolutely need, though youll learn a lot. If youre genuinely interested in learning about Islam, this is the class to take.

Dr. Khader is a very easy going professor. He gives opportunities to get extra credit, including asking a question during class. He wants everyone in class to get a good grade. Do the assignments and show up and you will do well. Testing is literally from the textbook, I didn't get the textbook and just took notes and still got good grades.

Dr. Khader is the best professor I have had at Marshall. His World of Islam class challenges students to discuss issues that many people avoid. He presents the information in an unbiased manner. He is very passionate about his class and includes eye-opening field trips and sessions with guest speakers. If you have the opportunity, take Dr. Kahder!

There are no problems if you actually go to class. He really wants everyone to succeed, so he is an easy grader. Class is let out early and you get to vote on things. He rambles some, but not excessively. I would definitely recommend him. The class material is simple enough, and he doesn't ask for much. If you take him show kindness for kindness.

He was the easiest professor I've taken. You don't even need to study for the tests, I just read the book pages 2 hours before the class and got A and B in the test. Be prepare to write like 4 papers but just 1 and half long, and really easy topics. Is an easy A for sure

Dr. Khader is really nice, his class is beyond easy if you do you work. I loved learning about a new religion but I really didn't like that the total pts for the class was 100, so a 10 page paper was worth 10 pts. When you ask him a question he doesn't answer your question, he gives a 10 minute answer, but it doesn't answer your question.

Very nice and helpful professor. Very easy to understand. Attendance is mandatory, but class usually gets out early. Class actually teaches you alot about the fundamentals of Islam and is very interesting if you like to learn about other religions. There are weekly essays, a project, a term paper, and 4 tests. all Easy Would recommend this class.

Interesting class. Introductory with focus on basics and misconceptions. Attendance is mandatory and class often goes from 6:30 to 8:30. Lectures can be boring at times, but the books are interesting. Tests are super easy. He is a very kind and thoughtful man. I was applying to dental school and he kept checking in to see how it was going.

Really easy A but the most boring class ever. Attendance is mandatory but nothing he says will be on any tests or quizes. He is very repediative and thinks Islam is right in every senerio. Very irratating man. There are easier ways to get your humantities credit.

Good class to take for an international or arts and humanities credit. Very nice guy, but does repeat himself a lot in his lectures. The info you learn about Islam is too basic, and you will learn the basics of the religion and not much else. Very easy class.

Great professor. Cares about u learning not about converting u. Ppl n the class have a bad attitude & he still treats everyone with respect. Makes the class as easy as possible & is always willing to help. There is no reason to get any lower than an A. If u can look over the rude comments of the students n listen to him you will learn a lot.
