I took a class with professor Hershey and lost interest very quickly. I have received the same grade on literally every single assignment so far, (kind of fishy)she is also so picky on the exams it isn't even funny.

I have had multiple classes with professor Hershey and she rocks. Her classes are easy and entertaining, and she gives awesome feedback. Attendance matters (do to in-class quizzes), but if you show up, try, and at lease kind of know the readings, you'll be good.

Dr. Hershey is THE BEST and runs informative, easy to follow lectures that give you almost all of the information you need. Shes always available to help and goes the extra mile for students. DO the readings- theyre short and she gives short pop quizzes. Theres 4 short (1-2pg) papers. Great class and great professor that is passionate.

Prof. Hershey is both incredibly knowledgable and incredibly personable. She writes a super clear outline of her lectures as she speaks, so take notes and you'll have no problem at all studying for tests. She has a great sense of human and tons of knowledge. Take a class with her!

Prof Hershey is the sweetest woman ever. She's super nice and makes the material engaging. The class and the textbook are pretty similar, but she does give pop quizzes (i.e what does the EPA stand for?) so go to class. The only grades in the class are final paper, final and a midterm so there's hardly any work.

The course really is not that hard, but it is so so painful to sit through the lectures. She writes her notes while speaking her lecture and it drives me crazy. The material of the papers/exams are not that hard, but they grade harder than needed. If you have knowledge on this course, do not take, you will be bored.

Professor Hershey is a very nice, motherly professor that cares deeply about the subject material she teaches. She clarifies whenever asked, emails back promptly, and tries to show both sides of an argument. Highly recommended

Never did the readings since they just repeated the lectures. Lectures are boring but you'll learn a lot. 100% of your grade comes from writing, so if you take the class, make sure your writing skills are pretty good.

Prof. Hershey is terrific. I had little interest in American politics prior to her class, but she made the material engaging. I learned so much. The tests are pretty straight-forward. You have 4 really short papers, which are graded slightly hard by the AI's, but regardless, it's a good class.

She gives the best notes hands down out of any professor I've had, which helps you understand material clearly. Pay attention and you will understand the material and do well in the class. I'd take another one of her classes if I could.
