Mark is an intelligent and outstanding individual! He knows the subject matters intimately and conveys the same during his lectures. He does get off topic some which is why the class is not mundane. Your mind stays fresh and does not stagnate. He teaches the subject matter in a way that keeps you interested and learning. Ex-sailors rule!

Decent teacher if you can keep him on topic. Sort of reminds me of taking a dog for a walk. You know, where they're constantly trying to sniff and piss everywhere, sort of moving in the right direction, but not really. Don't mention politics, sports, or awful, ancient TV shows/ movies. Really, don't.

He's my least favorite teacher ever! He's very curt(Rudely brief or abrupt): I try to get help from him but he cuts me short and leaves me hanging, still confused and not understanding the subjects. He usually is annoyed when people ask him for help. He can be very condescending as well. I don't think he should be teaching people anything. FAIL

I have had Mark as an instructor for a few classes now and I have to say he is one of my favorite teachers. He is very passionate about his work and is very easy to understand. I highly recommend him.

mark is a genius, he knows so much about everything. he tries to make sure everyone knows what they are doing. very helpful when a problem is not understood. hes funny sometimes too.

I think Mark really knows his stuff. He has a great body of knowledge and tries hard to make sure all his students understand. I think he is a much better teacher than Marshall.
