Devoe is the sweetest prof I've ever had. Very understanding and motherly, and very lenient with late assignments and such. The class is boring and disappointing overall; I expected more from such an interesting topic, but you won't get much out of it. You go on field trips, which is different and can be interesting. Very easy class.

Comment:

Death and Dying class was easy if you stayed on top of the papers and quizzes. I recommend doing the quizzes ahead of time to get them out of the way, because they have unlimited time and 2 attempts, so you really can't fail them.

Easy class. You learn on your own. Quizzes are online and it is helpful to have a e-book since the question on the quiz are word for word so its easy to look up. One group project. 4 easy papers. Attendance isn't mandatory but showing up does count towards for participation points. Professor will discuss notes from each chapter.

She's really nice, but her lectures are kind of dull - she basically says word for word what is on the powerpoint, which is essentially the textbook. I only used the textbook for the journals. Take advantage of the study guides and truly study for the tests! It's a good general class, I honestly didn't learn much though because it's my major.

She's a very nice lady. I really liked her. She's helpful and provides a studyguide for each test. The class is very easy. Take good notes, go to class, use the study guide, and enjoy an easy A.

I had her for Developmental Psychology online. You had to complete a quiz for every chapter, you had unlimited tries except the questions changed every time. You had to do 3 log observations and a paper, 3 discussions, and journals. Overall very easy. I would recommend this class. You definitely need the book

I am not into psy, so I really did not pay too much attention to the lectures. But I Aced all the tests because of the study guide she hands out. Therefore you must use the book to get all the answers and study hard. You will pass the calss with an easy A. She is a weird person, but is very nice.

Soo easy! The tests were online, you had a week to finish them. Three group presentations but just by doing them you get 100%. Very easy grader, attendance is not mandatory, but going to class definitely does help.

I appear to be in the minority here but I didn't like her. Her online summer course did not have a clear syllabus and it was hard to get a hold of her. I also had her for an on-campus class and she would rant without ever reaching a point. I personally would not take her again.

She's a very nice and good teacher. Her tests are easy and shes an easy grader. There's 2 papers (2 pages each). I wasn't a fan of the 3 group presentations but then again it's a 400 level class. Overall easy class, but make sure you go to class since participation is 20% of your grade or you will be screwed from getting an A.

Dr. DeVoe is one of the sweetest ladies out there and an absolutely awesome professor! She gave us unlimited attempts on the online quizzes so you could work on them all semester until you aced everyone. She also had us complete 10 worksheets, but they were kind of fun and really easy to do. The book is needed, but not too expensive. Take her!
