Comment:

Great professor with a funny little sense of humor depending on your own. Tough class, especially if it isn't what you are interested in . However, if you have some common sense when it comes to computers and how they work, it isn't so bad with a little bit of persistence. Good class and professor no matter what people say.

Comment:

Did VB course with him. For those exposed to programming for first time, don't take. It's as if he doesn't want you to pass. Tests are open note/open book but have many curveballs. Very tough grader. Not helpful whatsoever. Also grades based on his perception of you in many cases.

It's stats so it's tough to begin with but show up to class, pay attention, read the book and study and you'll make it. There's two excel projects that are straight forward, 4 tests including the final which isn't cumulative and 10 quizzes. Do well on the quizzes, pass at least one exam and do well on projects and homework and you're good.

Jeffries is a great professor. He knows alot about the subject.The class is not hard at all if you read the book. Quizzes are there every week which will be easy if you read the book. He is very helpful and nice guy!

Horrible. Waste of time. Assigns so much work and thinks no one has anything else to do. Material is difficult and he doesnt know how to teach it. The reviews are time consuming and pointless for a 10 question quiz. Attendance isnt mandatory but there is a quiz every week.. so you need to be there.

This profeesor is sick, I liked this subject but he has issues with his subject, he does not know how to teach and he is too confident but he does not know anything. not recomanded at all, try to take this course at SPC or Saintleo, they have better professor in this subjects

It was so Hard. He teaches by example on but he is not clear, . All the tests are open note and book! but does not mean it will be easy he will make it hard. not Easy A!. I dont recommend this professor at all and the problem he is the only one who teach ITM 251 and ITM 280

I liked him. Cool personality. And whenever you go over test if you give a convincing argument for an answer you gave he'll give it to the class. Definitely possible to do well, just study the review quizzes he posts. And I didnt have any programming backround

Hi, I would say do not listen to those students who said the class is easy, most of those students had a programing background, therefore the class is very hard and the professor is nice but he goes very fast in the class, sometime you don't catch up. keep this in mind

I had him for VISUAL BASIC (ITM 251) It was so easy. He teaches by example on the projector in VB and then prints out the code for you. All the tests are open note and book! The homework assignments can be tough if you don't pay attention in class but it all is in the book and printouts. Easy A!

Jeffries is a great teacher! He is very reasonable, and give help when needed. He curves final grades if u made the extra effort! Take his class!! ITM 251 aint an easy class, but he made it quite interesting

He is an awesome professor! I would definitely recommand taking him. After each chapter you have a extra credit quiz that counts for your test score! If you study the powerpoints and read the chapter you will do great in his class. Also you have 4 group projects which are hard, but not impossible! please take him :-)

Good teacher..Knows a lot. Not sure if he enjoys(or is comfortable) interacting with students one on one? but heart is in the right place. Needs to stop smoking-Its bad !

I hated this class but the professor was a good professor. the subject itself is very boring but he is a great professor and his tests are alright but there is a ridiculous amount of stuff on the tests to study for. You will need your book and no matter what teacher you get you are in for a long boring semester when it comes to this class

Mr. Jeffries is an excellent professor. Very clear and he is happy all the time. He is also very understanding, helpful and available when needed. Be prepared for long but productive classes!
