Comment:

Korcok has been one of my favorite professors at BC. He is very educated on the topic he teaches. He makes you really not want to miss class, it is never boring. I think the fact he makes the class enjoyable and he is very educated makes it so much better. If you have a question he will give you a straight up answer. Gives good feedback on speeches

Challenging course, really makes you think. The Professor is knowledgeable and quite funny. The class consist of lectures but he dose them well.

If youre smart youll get him. But if youre used to the same average typical normal type robotic unenthusiastic lifeless uncaring teachers, hes not for you. He makes the course very exciting and interesting to learn. He has great positive charisma, and he has a very original hilarious and creative presentation approach. Do as he says and pass.

He is So hilarious, I loved attending his class. Korcok is a grate Professor, you can tell he really loves what he does. Would really recommend to everyone!!!

Korcok is a decent teacher. He teachers a BORING subject but he tries to make it fun. Most of the class is clueless so do not think you're the only one. He is very lazy and doesn't grade until the end. There's online way points that are hard, but its just filler so that not everyone gets an A. You deff need the book!* Debates are important *

If you do good on debates, you will pass the class. He grades the homework optional if you think you are doing bad in the class. He is an easy grader. He assigns one midterm and its part of the grade.

It was a hybrid class but also had to come in twice a week. 4 essays are mandatory w/ outlines. You have to memorize the essays. Its sounds hard but he is a very funny and caring guy, he is blunt, gives detail of what he expects in the essays. If u want an A on the essay papers get the book. My overall grade in the class was a B.

Grades are based on the debates in the class, he gives good information on how to find the information for them, which is basically the only grades you get. There is one test, which is the midterm. The only thing that I didn't like about him was his lack of putting in grades the whole semester no one in the class knew how they were doing

this was an 8 week late start class. There was no hw, we were only graded on 4 speeches that were all required to pass. He is an interesting and witty man. he is clear on what he wants on the speeches. just follow the outlines and you will pass. you do not need the textbook. if you don't like public speaking, I 100% recommend this class.

Hes kind of a mess, a little unorganized, and doesnt grade homework on time. But he definitely knows what hes talking about and hes a very nice and funny man.

Took him for a hybrid comm course. Nothing was actually required online by him. It was 8 wks and she sure did hammer down and have us present 4 required speeches in that time frame. He was great and clearly knew the topic extremely well. Did not assign much hw other than the speech outlines and worksheets. Did not need to touch the textbook.

THis teacher is awful he has the worst scene of humor he gets off topic doesn't reply back to emails and most of the stuff on test is all on the book he hates going over stuff and gets off topic quickly and not sure why he has good rates i don't recommend taking him

Korcok is a really fun teacher! If you're really conservative or get offended easily be aware that he makes some crazy jokes pretty much everyday. The class really isn't hard if you're not an idiot, you can pretty much BS your way through it. Recommend studying for the midterm, but it's not as scary as he makes it out to be. Fun guy and a fun class

Even tho he overly brags about how smart he is, hes a really good prof. He likes student imput. usually will accept late work. uses a bunch of analogies and examples to help students understand. has realistic expectations of students. the online code is not needed so don't use it until HE STATES hes uploaded work to do. Logic games are a must.

10/10 recommend taking this professor! He was by far my most favorite at my time in Bakersfield College. Really a talented and thoughtful guy who not only cares about his students but also provides for a personable experience overall in the class.

Korcok's class is easy if you put in the effort. In the beginning he may seem intimidating and the class may seem daunting but its worth it to stick around. I got an A, just show up to class, take good notes, and do the assignments to the best of your ability. The debates are easy if you prepare, don't wing it.

My friend and I had him, I took his debating class and she took his public speech. He's a great teacher. What I enjoyed the most was how funny he is; he always gets off subject with great stories. When it comes to speaking in front of everyone he always cuts you slack and grades you high. Wish he could teach every subject. (:
