Dr. P is a nice guy and his class is super easy. The only problem is you don't learn anything. Those who go onto biochem will regret having a teacher where you don't actually learn the material.

At first I thought that Dr Panigot was going to be my worst professor, but he turned out to be fantastic. He will literally reschedule major exams so that the students don't have too much stress during mid terms. He is the most considerate professor I've ever had. He is very rare so scoop him up.

Comment:

The professor is confusing in his presentation of the material. He will begin talking about a subject, then say forget that it is for a more intensive Chemistry class! I am having to teach myself the subjects covered and hope that I have learned it correctly. This was the only choice offered. He is incredibly smart,just not understandable.

Dr. P is an easier version of chem. He holds your hand more than then the other teachers, and gives study guides!! bring a mt dew to class, its boring but its chemistry, i wouldn't expect nothing less

Mike Panigot is A fine tuned well polish man and teacher, who is nothing short of Professionalism. If you?re looking for a slightly easier version of chemistry then Dr. P is your man. (Ladies) I stress the only Challenge you may face in his class, is keeping your eyes off his hot bod!

Setting in class taking notes in almost unbearable, so boring and you don't learn anything. The practice tests and actual tests are so similar it is almost impossible to not make above a B. Expect to teach yourself and an easy grade for first couple tests!

If you want an A, take Dr. P. He's hard to understand but he gives practice exams that are almost identical to the actual tests. He also gives a ton of bonus. Dont buy the book.

omg...dr panigot is sooo confusing! he talks with his eyes closed the whole time and you can barely understands what he is saying unless ur n the front. although...go to study sessions n u should do fine b/c their basically the same as the test. he never used the book.

Previous assessment was right on! He's an extremely nice man who knows his subject, but absolutely has NO TEACHING SKILLS to get the ideas across. Yeah, it'll be an easy "A", but you'll be incredibly lost if you ever need to use this information later. "Ph.D." indicates personal mastery of a subject, not the ability to translate it to others.

I am in professional school (Pharmacy) and took him back in the day (Org Chem I and II) and got a GREAT grade but learned NOTHING. Great for the GPA - but a MAJOR setback when it counted. I was forced to learn the material for Med Chem at the same time taking Pharmacology. I would not advise taking him if you ever need to know Org Chem!!!!

This class was very good!!! He is a GREAT teacher. He gives a study guide that is almost eh exact same test. He also gives a group quiz almost every Friday that is pretty easy. He is really helpful if you ask.
