Comment:

Dr. Wolf is one of the best professors I've ever had at Augustana. Yes, he does make you work for an A, but you learn so much from him and he's very inspirational. Plus, what's the point of going to college if you get an easy A in every class? Absolutely loved Mineralogy, and every class I've taken with Dr. Wolf including 105 and Petrology.

Mineralogy was the hardest thing I've ever done. The only thing that saved me was working with other people in the class. I would never ever wish this class on anyone. But! I made some long lasting friends, forge in the fires of hell (this class).

I went into Dr. Wolf's summer geology course unsure if I wanted to be a geology major or not. However, he truly made the experience one I will never forget. He likes to challenge his students but also help them succeed.

Took the summer geology trip out west with Dr. Wolf. He's an amazing professor and loves to sit and talk with you about any questions you have! You definitely have to study for quizzes and tests, but he's not trying to trick you with anything. Makes lectures fun and hands-on. Hilarious, and awesome to be around!

I took a summer class with him Geology 105 and oh boy was I struggling but he did everything in his power to help me be successful in that class! He is a truly kind guy. His classes are pretty hard, but he makes them interesting! I highly recommend him if you want to do Geology or just want a great teacher ! He is truly amazing in what he does!

Dr. Wolf is one of the best professors I've ever had. He is so interested and engaged in his field. He is funny and also really great to talk to out side of class. He helped me get through the class when I was struggling. He does make you work for the grade and expects a lot but he's very clear about what will be on the tests.

Great course with great professor! Dr.Wolf is like a dad when he gets comfortable with his students. He's always helpful and available for questions. Be prepared for him to do tai chi during tests though

Dr. Wolf really made Geology fun for me. It was entertaining to come to class. You have to appreciate his humor and be able to laugh at him and with him. I learned a lot. It's a lot of memorization and studying though.

This is basically a blow off class. It's really easy and not interesting at all unless you have a thing for rocks. Wolf is awkward and stuttery even though he's been teaching for 15 years. I would not recommend this class

Dr. Wolf's class is very difficult if you don't take notes. He is always there to answer questions, but sometimes he looks at you like you're an idiot. He is easy on the eyes though! I recommend taking Strasser's 101 becuase his tests/quizzes are much easier.

Very helpful, intelligent, and hot in an Indiana Jones geeky in the classroom but irrestible in a leather coat, hat, and whip. He's always tan, MUST go adventuring for lost artifacts while battling Nazis when not in class. Oh, and he teaches a wicked class.
