The single greatest teacher & mentor I will ever have. If you are an art major, take advantage of his helpfulness. Pushes you to be the best, & is there every step to guide you. Taken all of his classes, he is great at what he does & passionate about teaching & his students. Best teacher in the sxu art department by far.

seriously the best professor I've had. His class isnt that easy and we had stuff to turn in almost every other class but he is the BEST! He's sooo funny, and laidback, never regretted going to class!

Monte's classes are challenging and push you to think outside the box. Even though he moves quickly, and can be confusing he is always there to help. He is fun, but do not take his classes lightly as it is challenging. I took his digi photo, advanced photo, and digi imagery. best classes ever!

This class takes dedication and passion, not an easy A, but definitely a great professor. Had him for Intro to photo and Advanced Photo, loved every moment and plan on taking more with him. Defintely pushes you to be creative

Uh, work hard, no... work harder, devote your semester to him and lay it at his feet and you will get an A. He is a wonderful guy, funny, smart, great personality, caring when he should be. And he is so amazingly tolerant of the strange ones which counted for everyone in his class.

I took classes with him two times and I must say he is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He will push you to do your best, he grades you well if you put in the effort. I took the class to improve as an artist not get an easy grade, with this guy you will improve without a doubt!

I took him for a Photography course and he's just ok. He is very good at what he does and knowledgable, but, he seems to expect perfection from beginning photo students so don't expect an easy "A" by any means.

I always looked foward to his class. I learned alot and had so much fun. He is very open-minded and laid back. He made everything so interesting and our whole class was sad to see it end. If you try and are enthusiastic, he is not a hard grader.
