Dr. Tidwell is one of the most passionate professors I have ever encountered. His classes are mainly discussion oriented. He also spends the majoirity of the school year organizing a seminar for about 13 colleges with around 300 students. Anyone who knows Dr. Tidwell knows how dedicated he is to his work.

I don't have words for how amazing this professor is. He cares about all his students, and he coordinated the Urban Seminar. Not just for IUP, but for numerous schools in the region. He is truly passionate, and I loved him!!! If you have a choice, Dr. Tidwell all the way!!!

During the Philly Urban Seminar, he spent time partying instead of helping. He was a terrible adviser and I didn't get much from his countless classes. I believe he has good intentions, I particularly did not care for him. His classes are easy.

Out of all the teachers to pick for eced 117 pick him!! He is really chill. Every other class is on ch. 14 and we are only on ch 6. He lets you rewrite any papers turned in for a better grade. He is so easy so if you want an A take him!

He genuinely loves what he does and it shows immensely. He talks to you as if you're one of his buddies, rather than just a student. He respects you as a person and has a genuine love for all who pursue an education. He's honestly the best professor i've ever had. Of all the professors I had at IUP, he influenced me the most by far. I was one of those urban people (!) and by being involved with that I got to know him much better. He is so passionate about education, he do anything for his students, and he is willing to help long after graduation!
