Took online arfican arch. Easy assignments ea. week. I mostly answered about pictures in book. Mid-term paper was pretty easy. Final paper much harder. 2 log-ins a week required + 2 questions ea. week. As a Criminal Just. Major i found this a simple class and did it all from comfort of by bedroom =)

Comment:

If you love archaeology, then you will love this class because it traces our human origins as they evoloved in Africa. The professor does a great job in defining and explaining the African archaeological landscape. Weekly readings/writings required and she challenges you to "dig" deeper to gain a better understanding of the human origins.

I think if you want A then take this prof. This not what I want back to school for. Dont bother asking any questions because all you will get back is read the syllabus. Gives not notice about the final. I got at 915 am this morning and it is due at midnight. Has no consideration for any student what so ever

A couple of papers and weekly board postings. Was given too little time for final exam. We should of had a couple of days, not 24-36 hours to do it during the middle of finals week. Read every bit of instruction that he gives or else you might be missing something. Had to snail mail a paper to him for an online class. Very high tech.

I don't see the comments as being positive. He's an easy grader and a nice guy, but he's not a great teacher. I got an A- and I did no reading at all. I also didn't even do a presentation which was "required" and was 10% of your final grade.

I am surprised to see the comments being positive. Do not take this professor on line. The information is given in a 20 pg. syllabus that is never reviewed. The discussion boards do not make any sense!

good teacher, yea he has a thick accent but hes cool and you dont really have to be there and all the quiz's r the same as the study guides we fill in class...take him and youll get at least a b+

VERY thick accent. Overall a very nice guy, and laid back as well. We started the semester with a 12 page paper due, but now its down to 3-4 pages for some reason. He's a little unclear and seems disorganized at times.
