Comment:

She is a good professor, one of the few accounting professors at SXU so you'll have to take her. She speeds through lectures and is a tough grader but gives a lot of extra credit to make up for the bad exams. She cares a lot that you understand, but sometimes is not the best at teaching.

She's good at accounting, but teaching is not something she's good at. She goes too fast during lectures. She's never available after class to help students. The homework assignments don't relate to the lectures. Your clueless as to what to study for quizzes and exams. She gives you difficult problems to solve.

She speeds through the lectures. There is no real feeling of succeeding in her class. The homework assignments are all mind boggling. The exams can be pretty tough, especially for chapter 6 & 7.

I personally didn't like her teaching style. Exams were tough (but so is the class )& all multiple choice. She goes around the room one by one & asks little questions pertaining to that day's notes. She seems like a nice enough lady & she's fair, but I feel like you're pretty much doomed from the start if you're not an accounting major.

This is considered as the "make it or break it" class for Accounting majors. The class is hard, but it's not her fault. She is a really great professor and advisor.

She has real world experience! Class was structured well. She would lecture and go over examples and an assignment would be due the following class. Next class she would go over the assignment and clear up questions then proceed on to new material. Some lectures she went through the material too fast, so the lecture seemed incomplete.

I've been at SXU for 3 years now and I have to say in all my years I have never had such an excellent professor the best I've had yet. She's helpful, funny, and so clear in her teaching and based on some jokes I can tell she is a Conservative which is a plus in my book! Take her as much as you can!!

I had this teacher back in 1985-1987 when I graduated.Pam is the best . Accounting teacher I ever had. A real Pro and fair. She really cares. A real Gem of a person...Larry G...Thanks for everything!!!

I've had her for two classes. She is the best teacher ever. Covers everything you need to know to ace the tests. Make sure you go to class and do the homework. Paying attention to her powerpoints will help with all the theory questions.

didn't like schwer for personal reasons, but she was a good teacher. study key terms and key definitions in the book, and you shoudl be able to get 90 or higher on all tests even without going to class. I did. Has attendence policy, so strategy not recomended, except for studying.
