took her online class & it was pretty easy. You read the WHOLE book! the class consist of a quiz at the end of every chapter(15) discussion boards(12)and 3 assignments. her study guides aren't helpful but slide really were. No extra credit, she does give you 25 points if u don't need a quiz reset. quizes are 20 ?'s with 25 mins to answer them all.

Took 143 online. Let me just say she is EXTREMELY passionate about history!! Her class is extremely easy and organized she's always on top of grading. work load isnt hard quiz every chapter, 4 discussions, and 3 small essays. Easy A :)

very easy and polite teacher. she loves the subject and is very passionate. super easy. 4 quizzes (20 questions 2 pts each). she gives answers at end of quiz so u can c how u did. a midterm & final (both in class 3-4 pg essays and she prepares you for them very well) and 2 hw assign (5pts each, not hard). i hate history but she made me love it.

OUTSTANDING PROFESSOR. SHE LOVES TEACHING. VERY PATRIOTIC. BEING A VETERAN AND SCHOOL RUSTY, SHE IS CARING AND UNDERSTANDING. BRAVO ZULU TO MISS GALLEGOS. ESSAYS ARE EASY AND HOMEWORK IS TO. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY SOME STUDENTS STILL MESS WITH THEIR CELL PHONES WHEN TOLD NOT TO. SOME KIDS NEED TO GROW UP AND LEARN SOME RESPECT.

she always thinks you have your phone out, her grading scale is weird, she grades essays really hard, marks you off for anything..but she does love what she is teaching. if you like history you will be ok but if you dont you got some issues.

She gave me a very hard time whenever I had a problem in class concerning my grade or scores. She lost some of my assignments and it affected my grade. she never acknowledged my concerns. Very unorganized and brings her stress to work with her. Do not recommend her.

She is a nice instructor but can be quite moody at times. She is very unorganized. She lost several of my assignments and it affected my grade. She later recovered the assignments after she was very confident that I didn't turn them in.

The best teacher Rio has to offer she is so passoniate about history and about being an American that it makes the class that much easier. Test are easy work is easy you just have 2 show up to class and she gives you all the answers 2 the test !! got an A in both 143 & 144

Super nice and helpful. I think her class is easy, but I know a lot of people still did terribly in her class(though I don't think she was responsible for this). I think she's a good looking mature woman, if she wasn't married I'd ask her out on a date. Some people think she goes fast on her slide shows, but I think those people are just slow.

Shes a great teacher who has a lot to offer and teach. I highly recommend taking a class with her. Shes not mean at all, just participate in her class and you'll basically get an "A". But overall her class was great, and not that much homework at all!

Comment:

Mrs.Gallegos was very helpful and very easy to approach.I felt she was very friendly and I enjoyed the course. There is alot essay questions on all of her exams and alot of reading, and no opportunity to get extra credit.
