Mrs. Jones was not very helpful in class. She dances around questions without ever giving a clear answer. She tends to scoff at questions and can be degrading and dismissive. Mrs. Jones was not present and available as an instructor and discussed her personal life and personal achievements more than instructing and guiding us.

Mrs. Jones is most certainly one of those teachers who is there to teach you! Don't take her lessons for granted, you'll regret it if you do. She has so much knowledge in her craft and the smartest thing to do is open your ears when she dishes out a lesson. Have a passion for the class and she'll be there to help. Thank you Mrs. Jones!

Hard class and tough teacher. But she REALLY knows this industry. Yes, sometimes she is late and disappears during lab... but she really is a good teacher. Be sure to PRACTICE and study, because she grades harshly. But it really helps to prepare you for the rest of Cosmo classes. Makes Senior level a breeze after you learn from Mrs. Jones.

PJones is 1 of the most AMAZING teachers I ever had!She is extremely professional and fair.She is clear and goes by the rules.Easy to approach, open doors policy. In beginning she appears to be "Tough Heart", but she soften as she knows you are putting the work. She is jovial, fashion, smart, very knowledgeable , she embraces diversity. Love her!!!

Ms. Jones is an AWESOME teacher! She knows the business really well because she's presently working in a salon. She is very strict about keeping everything up to state board standards, but that should be expected of any cosmetology instructor. She's very no-nonsense, so if you like to cause trouble, she won't stand for it.

Am currently taking her class in the new cosmo building. Shes always on time and is somewhat leaneant with late students but will make them feel bad for it.Has a lot to offer as a teacher and knows her chemical services very well since she works mostly with textured hair.Teaches according to state board regulation, and gives salon insight as well.

At first I was really scared for this class because I heard that she was mean. But I have found this is not the case. Perhaps over the years she has toned down her attitude, but I find Mrs. Jones to be nice. Although she can be a diva, its just her persona, but she really does want to help, and she will until you understand completely.
