I got my first A in English with her (FIRST omg). We only had to do like 4 essays for the semester, and several of them were fairly short. Beware her grammar quizzes make sure to study for them. I particularly loved her because she gives the right amount of tough love imo. Prepare to be lost if you skip.

shes doesn't take late work. make sure you show up to class everyday or you will fail. alot of wrighting had essays every two weeks the last one was a book report and it was alot of work. make sure you go to her office hours for help because shes willing to give you ideas. there is always pop quiezes sometimes she does not warren you.

One of my favorite professors. If you come to class she will go leaps and bounds to help you. Dont come to class late, do NOT play on your phone. Listen to what she has to say, she will see you respect her and she will help you out. Gives a lot of curves if you actually show up to class and on time!

She is the sweetest person if you get to talk to her outside of class. Yes she is a hard teacher who is a tough grader but she is so willing to help you with anything that you need. If you want to make an A in that class you must work for your grade and really try your best. She really helps you improve as a writer,you wont regret taking her class!

Took her for a May mini. She was alright. I say tough grader because I thought I had an A, but my final grade was a B. The class wasn't that bad. Just do your work.

DO NOT TAKE HER UNLESS IT'S ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. She is very unclear about what she wants in the essays. She just expects you to know exactly what she wants. She is very sweet outside of class, but will not hesitate to let you know when you're wrong and make you look stupid. Failed almost all essays.

I did not learn a single thing from this class. The class period is spent grading each other's at home quizzes & listening to other people give presentations. She does not give clear instructions for assignments & is rude when her instructions are misinterpreted. If you are late to her class she will not accept your work, so don't take her 8 a.m.

I took her for English 1301 and plan to take her for 1302. Show up to class, participate and attempt to do all of the work and you will pass. Of course it isn't easy but it is very do-able. She will meet with you during her office hours and set up a different time if you can't do that. Alot of my classmates didn't like her but they also didn't try.

Please do not take this professor unless their is not any other options left. Assignments will be due one day and when you get to class it will not be due till the next time you meet. DO NOT MISS CLASS UNLESS THEIR IS A NO WAY YOU CAN MAKE IT. Her grading is extremely hard espically when it comes to essay's. Homework 7 days even on school breaks.

Here is the thing about this lady. 1. She gives out so much work! You get three narrative essays and a research paper! You also have to do a presentation that you wont present until the end of the semester. 2. She is a terrible person for feedback! She will maybe keep her feedback until your final. 3. She expects you to have your book. SMH!

she's VERY tough, but she's actually pretty nice. If you go to her office hours she will really help you out on everything. The essays are very intense, and you will have lots of quizzes .She also gives pop quizzes over instructions she gives over papers and the syllabus. Take this class very seriously. It hard, but its possible to pass.

I ended up having to drop the class after a long string of unfortunate events kept me from class. Not because of attendance (she gives up to 4 excused absences), but because she doesn't allow makeup work. The only way to makeup work is to talk to her to plan in advance. That would be easy and simple, if she bothered to check or respond to emails.
