I have found Professor Dovyak to be to extremely friendly. His classes do require actual studying and learning, but can be easily passed if the time is taken to learn the material. I have only good things to say about his classes!

Can be down right mean to students and will try to be little them for no reason! He makes classes tough on purpose..been out working in the field for many many years as i did graduate with my social work degree...but he made it seem like this was such a tough profession..its not apply some common sense and a have a backbone and you can do this typ

He is not easy and you can tell if he doensn't like you. He is a good lecturer but makes you jump through hoops. Don't question his methods becuase he will not change them even if you are right. He lets you know that he is better than you.
