Comment:

Jankowski is brilliant. This was the 3rd class I took with him (War in European History, Europe in World War II, World War I). He is Oxford thoroughbred for all of his degrees and lectures in a dry British tone. This is a good thing, however. He is incredibly knowledgeable and informative and has studied extensively. Very easy, easy A.

Best teacher I have ever had at brandeis! Funny, good looking and extreemly helpful. He likes all his students! No ego. Listens and respects what students say. Cultures in conflict was a great class.

I think of Jankowski like fine wine, you need to experience it in order to appreciate it. He's absolutely brilliant, and hilarious. Easily one of my favorite professors at Brandeis.

Comment:

Brilliant professor and also quite a nice guy. The course consisted of two 5-7 page papers and a final exam for which students are given the questions in advance. The course is difficult only in the sense that it covers a broad period of time (200 years). Freshmen tend to get B's in this course.
