Paul is awesome! This class is very hard just because of the content of the class but Paul really does try everything he can to have all his students succeed. I would say lecture and tutoring is mandatory. It helps a lot if you get the practice we do in class and in tutoring.

Paul is such an amazing teacher! Yes CSDS 106 is a challenging class, however Paul gives you every and any resource you might need. He is so willing to help his students succeed and will provide any tool possible to make sure we get the help we need (you just have to ask). Awesome class!

Comment:

Great man, but unfortunately this subject is not his strong suit whatsoever. He never refers to the book in class and his way of teaching can easily confuse anyone. In general, teachings in class are not helpful whatsoever, so you are going to be on your own the whole semester. Good luck.

Paul has definitely been one of my favorite teachers I've had the privileged of having at FSU. His class is hard and he expects a LOT from all his students but he is always there to help. He wants what's best for his students and if you go into his class with that mindset, you'll be FINE! ^_^

The best professor I have ever had. He truly cares about every student and makes the effort to get to know everyone in his class. He does expect a lot, but if you are struggling he will help you out. If you show up for class, ask questions when you are confused, and make sure that you do not fall behind, you will be fine.

AMAZING! He is a wonderful teacher, cares about each student, and will go out of his way to make sure everyone understands the material. Attendance is definitely mandatory and outside studying is really helpful. There are a lot of tests, but the pactice quizzez are very helpful.

Paul is an EXCELLENT teacher. I wish he could teach every class that is offered. He is very helpful and willing to help a student in any way. He explains his assignments very clearly and he is easily available to students for help.
