This is one of the easiest classes to pass- not necessarily get an A. I had her for a class this past semester and ended up with a lower grade than expected but for the work I actually put in, she's fairly lenient and not too harsh of a grader. Lets you rewrite papers and cares about your opinion for the most part.

great, interesting class. paula is easy to work w. & tries to make u do well. lots of HW but not difficult HW. volunteering at el centro/ other events required. good info but class gets repetitive and boring towards end. little amounts of grammar- 2nd test was hard but gave chance for xtra credit. pretty easy if u do all the work, reasonable class

I love Senora Olinger! Her class is so much fun, and so easy too. I'm taking my last required Spanish class with her next semester because she is so great. If you have to take Spanish and really hate it, take Olinger's class because she makes it so fun and easy!

She's really sweet and very helpful. She's really flexible as long as you show you actually care about the class. She usually goes over what will be on the test before you take it and as long as you study what she tells you to, you'll get an A.

One of the more creative and free-spirited teachers in the dept. Has been known to bring su perro to class. Seems to appreciate profound reactions to poems. One of the few professors here with compromiso social--she´s pretty active in the community. Not a hottie, but was probably cute in her day. Hard to fall asleep if you care about learning.

Olinger is an awesome lady. She really cares about her students getting involved in El Centro and trying to make a difference there and looks at her students as real people. She is such a fair lady if you give your all in her class. You gotta love her!
