I ended up winning the Gilbert Shetz academic achievement award from LCCC and graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in 88. I wanted to personally thank Dr. Karch. He was a very hard prof. The problem is he is too intelligent, he thinks everyone thinks at his level. No one ever knew what he was talking about. I got a B, but I studied my butt off. Not recommended.

He is easily the most intelligent person I've ever met. Yes, his test are hard, but if you go to him for tutoring, he practicaly gives you the answers. I got an A in both classes, and barely studied.

Worst teacher I've ever had. The guy is a genious, but he talks to students like we should already know the topic. His notes have nothing to do with whats on his tests. The guy will talk about something completely unrelated for half the class. Class averages were about 60%...

Ok, so he is a hard teacher, but I am not complaining. It is as easy as this. If you want to slack off and just get through the class, don't take Karch. If you want to learn something you can actually use in the real world, he is your man.

Extremely hard to follow, can't seem to bring himself down to the students level. Don't ask questions, unless you expect to answer them yourself. With all of the other good A&P teachers at LCCC, I would suggest you steer clear of this one.
