Professor Williams doesn't teach much in the class. The textbook is the one you learn everything from mostly. She is there to help with any questions, but when you ask, she doesn't answer it straight forward. She works her way around it and then asks you a question back. I guess it's her way of implying to figure it out yourself.

Williams is one of the best professors I have ever had. Not only did she teach, but she taught quite well. I am very glad I took OBJ oriented instead of the beginner intro to programming course. I really got a lot out of that class, and she is the reason why I am doing so well in my other Comp Sci courses. I highly recommend her.

This woman has a huge ego. She thinks that everything is her way or no way. She gets mad very easily when the same question is asked twice, but that would be avoided if she would actually teach.

The class itself is not very hard, but it may as well be a PSI course. If you take the class, make sure you do not get sick or have to miss class because you can't make up quizzes even if it is a well documented excused absence. She is very unfair.

Doesn't seem to know the material very well or perhaps just isn't good at presenting it. Assignments were usually pretty easy (nice tough final program) but it would've been nice to do more work on the computers and spend less time reading stupid slides. You def. learn to program utilizing more objects though, which is a great skill!

I honestly think Professor Williams is one of the best professors I had. Her classes do tend to be a bit difficult, but she is very helpful, explains the concepts well, and really knows her stuff. I really learned a lot from her classes.

She is willing to help you when you ask for it. She expects a bit too much from students, and holds very little patience. Sometimes, even making mistakes more than once, she will get irritated with you. I think that she needs to work on her patience levels, and make things a bit more clear.

I still say Prof. Williams is one of the best CPSC professors at ESU. The class is difficult, but you learn 10x more from her than you do from most professors. She actually knows her stuff rather than just pretending she does like some other people do.

She is a pretty hard teacher, but knows her stuff. She will always help you out. She is a tough grader - takes off .1 points, but she is fair. Her class is hard, but if you have her, you'll do better in other CPSC classes than if you had another prof.

although alot may disagree, she's a very fair teacher. although hard, she's always in her office during her hours to help you. even on her lunch breaks she's willing to help you with problems you may be facing.
