Comment:

Easy class with pretty interesting coursework. Just study and you'll be fine. Zagano is pretty strict with attendance and getting assignments in on time, but just reading the short chapters in the book are enough to pass with flying colors. Class discussions get pretty serious so don't take this class if you're easily offended.

Loveddd this professor. Attendance is mandatory and she tells you to read material before class but I never did and still got an A. Her tests are EXTREMELY fair and she really wants her students to do well. Midterm, final, and an 8 page paper. Offers extra credit and does cute reviews before the midterm and final. Take her! You'll do fine!

Very old fashioned. Must come to class totally prepared and on time. Does not like to have students eating in class and will call you out if you go to the bathroom too often. Expect to have to know the material and be well versed. She was in the Navy so is very orderly and expects everyones respect and attention no matter how boring a topic is.

Good teacher but you really have to be interested in the subject otherwise its pretty boring. You are expected to read a good amount for hw and have that knowledge when going into class. One huge paper due in the class. Pretty ok class otherwise.

Lucky for anyone taking her after this semester she went to Ireland, which if you took her you obviously know bc thats all she talked about. Treats you like your 8-not allowed to go to the bathroom or drink anything other than water.Must sit straight facing the board otherwise she yells at you.Wont answer any questions you have.WORST PROF EVER!!!!!

This teacher although smart is the worst rel. teacher one can possibly take. She failed ten kids because she thought they cheated on the final. And attendance mandatory? i never missed a class but went to the bathroom a couple of times and she marked me absent for it!

Ok. I started out thinking she hated me as well. Challenge her, and show her that you have a brain of your own. Religion can be really dry at times, and she can try to liven things up. She knows an intellect when she sees one... even so, she can belittle anyone at anytime. Personally I'd say take if you're daring, otherwise go elsewhere.

I agree 100% with the person below, my situation was the same. She singled me out a number of times, and for no apparent reason (I recieved A's on all the papers and tests). She just didn't like me, so decided to ridicule me in front of everyone; she treats students as if they were in high school.

I have never hated a teacher as much as this woman. Teachers usually love me, I'm very respectful, always on time, always do my work, etc, but this woman hated me from the start. And because of that she would single me out for no reason during class for absolutely no reason. You couldn't pay me to take another one of her classes. Avoid at all cost.

It wasn't the subject matter i'd hoped to learn about, but it was definatly an easy A and enjoyable to hear stories about mother taressa and other United Nations stories. That actually did pretain to the class. Had a lot of fun, and maybe the no drinking thing happened because people made to much of a mess because i had my coffee or juice every class.

I can see that those who rated her as great are religion fanatics. This teacher is old school and treats the class as if this is elementary school. Shes mean and strict. No eating or drinking in her classes either. Her tests are extememly hard too. Dont take this women, you'll regret it.
