Comment:

Thick foreign accent. Makes you work to understand the concepts. Don't expect to pass if you choose to sit in the back though. Very soft spoken; so sit in the front and you should be ok. Every class has lectures on PP, though he does not post them on BB. Book is extremely useful. Quizzes come from the book. Tests are tough, but tells you before.

He is a nice guy but very slow speaker. Dry personality. He follows the textbook which make it very easy to study. Has Surprise quizzes but they are ?Open book, Open notes, and Open friends? as he says. Overall not a bad class

Pretty good professor. He lays out everything that will be on the exams. On surprise quizzes he lets you work with others, but those and the homeworks are both pretty easy. Not too much homework either. The book he wrote is dirt cheap which is nice.

This guy isn't bad at all; he's from Kenya and if you don't understand accents very well he probably isn't the best professor to take this course with. That said, I personally didn't have much of a problem with that. If you read his book, practice the problems in it, there is no way you can fail his class. I got a 3.7 barely trying.

It takes about 2 semesters to understand this guy. He is knows his stuff but he is a terrible teacher: disorganized, does not have a clue about effective teaching. He tries to be helpful. He gives take home exams. I think because most people failed his in class exams. Too compensate for the take home it will take you 10 to 12 hours to complete

EXCELLENT TEACHER! Once you get used to the accent he is a great teacher. VERY HELPFUL! I felt he was excellent in extra help and is a fabulous teacher. I enjoyed his textbook. Easy to understand.

I thought his class was pretty easy because he wrote the book himself and gave you a lot of oppurtunities to get a good grade. He was hard to understand at first but you get used to it. Not too much homework, plus you get to work in groups for surprise tests. I thought he did a good job teaching.
