Isnt clear with the process. If you dont know the material when you walk in the door might as well walk back out. Not very friendly. He has his ways and expects you to know everything and if you dont he just passes you and keeps going. Uses a terrible computer program he cant run. Dropping the class for another teacher. Worst teacher i have had.

Doesn't explain anything clearly. If you do not understand something he completely disregards it and does nothing to help. He loses his train of thought all the time and makes no sense. Steer clear from taking a class with him. It will do nothing but ruin your GPA and your semester. He is hands down the worst teacher I have ever had.

Bertelle is a great guy. He is so incredibly intelligent. I think he just has a hard time putting the information on a lower level so some people can understand it. I recommend this class to people who are very math brained. For people who are not trying taking it with a professor who is going to hold your hand the way

I took Bertelli's hybrid course. It was challenging but overall I really enjoyed it. He isn't always the clearest but he will try his best to explain himself. He does not put up with horseplay or care for any student who is not willing to try. As, no professor should. If you attend all classes and complete all assignments, you will do great!

One of the worst math teachers i've ever had. He is very rude and doesn't give help when it's needed. He doesn't actually "teach" he tells you what to do and expects you to know it. If you have him make sure you know your stuff or you're screwed.

He is awesome! One of the best math professors I've had so far. I can't believe the harsh comments I'm seeing. He must have changed his way of teaching because he is so great. I can't even believe some of the stuff people say. Take his course you won't regret it

Bertelle is not a bad professor he just expects you to learn and actually try ! which is what college is about haha but he pretty much goes over problems covering the chapter until you get it. he has a sense of humor and if you dont mind putting a little effort into your work than you should be alright.

I see alot of harsh comments, but I did well in his class. He was helpful and approachable. He gave you a chance to correct homework to get a better grade and always wrote the formulas on the board during tests so you didn't have to memorize them. If you do your best it is a good class.

Okay so today was my first day. I went to my advisor to let her know I will most likely be dropping the class. I'm a straight A student also must I say, majoring in math and science. This guy is all over the place and I can't even understand half of what he says!

The problem is this guy had a hand in writing the book that is currently used in his class. I think he is a nice man, also VERY inteligent. ONLY PROBLEM is he cannot teach. I Failed his class, then got an A+ (no lie, honest) in a night class the next seimester. before you take this class understand that you will fail with 1/2 the rest of the class.
