Comment:
Very generous with essays when grading. Allows full open-note during tests (no textbooks). Pretty much just copy down important things from textbook into a notebook or into Word and print it off and you'll get nearly perfect on the test. I used his study guide templates and filled it in with Google. Final was an essay but he never graded it.

Was relatively responsive and would respond when you challenged a question on his test. He would grade tests on a curve. Regularly gave extra credit if you put in extra effort. The final paper had to be chosen from a list of ridiculously specific questions. I ended up listening to an 18th century book on Audible. Outside of the paper, easy.

He's an awesome teacher. The majority of the class, as with most history classes, is taking notes. If you ask him to go back a slide, he will. The tests are relatively simple; make sure you read the textbook. He makes class fun with some goofy personal discussions, and is pretty lenient with lateness. Just make sure you do the CTE papers!!

He is an awesome. Taking notes of the powerpoint is kinda hard as he goes kinda fast, but his tests are easy. Also he curves them like crazy to make sure everyone passes. I am not sure if he would be a good online teacher has he doesn't seem very technology friendly, but taking it in person its a fun class.

He is so wonderful! He really makes sure you understand the sequence of events and he will even slow down for you to finish writing the notes. The papers are not hard if you know how to write and take notes on everything he talks about, tests are open note!

He was a good teacher. He was pretty fair to his students and didn't make any of his tests or papers really long or really hard.

If you have him for an online class, switch. He has horrible communication skills and his tests are not good. He's the type to "tell you" what you need to know, then test you on stuff he didn't tell you about. Terrible online teacher.

Expectations are WAY too high. Notes from powerpoint (15+ lines per slide) plus taking notes from his lecture. Constantly compared us to Villa Julie FRESHMEN students as to how poor our writing was (3 essays based on ridiculously detailed questions). Final was open note and the average grade was still a 60% on it. Terrible. Drop it if you can.

His tests are based on 1/2 Lecture 1/2 Text. Always like 75 multiple choice and an essay. You can use a notecard...pretty easy, but if you don't show up to class-then you don't know the lecture notes. Keeps class interesting, but pushes the pen for an hour and twenty w/ NO breathing time!!!

I took D'Amario a couple of semesters ago, but I have never had a funnier history teacher and I'm a history major! You have to study a lot, but that is with all history classes.

I think he goes very fast in class, in my opinion. First of all history really isn't my subject, so it never really sticks in anyway. He has gotten better and has giving us some visual stuff to look at such as; outlines, and him writing on the book.
