DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!! She is horrible! RUN! Grades papers really hard...very strict. She doesn't return your graded papers in time for you to review for your next paper. I'm sure most of my class took a "Q" the last week of class. Everyone complained by email and she never responded. The Chair of the department had to get involved! DO NOT TAKE!

Though she's very quick to respond to forum and discussion posts, she is extraordinarily slow in grading papers. I had already gone to my adviser for Sp. '13 before I received any grades at all from her. Our last two essays weren't given back until the day of grade-turn-in for professors. Easy class, but hard to gauge progress, and little feedback.

Just finished this class and still haven't received my essay grades from October. There are 4 assignments still ungraded. This teacher expects a lot from her students but is willing to help when asked. It's rude to expect students to have deadlines with no exceptions when she doesn't turn in graded work until after the course is done.

The worst about it is the way she setup the blackboard is a labyrinth of folders. This is not a class you want to take on line especially with her

I'm taking this class online and it was the hardest English class I have ever taken in my life!! Her course work is extremely demanding, she grades really hard and then it takes several weeks to get your grade back. I wouldn't recommend taking this class with a full work load.

by far the most demanding class I have taken. I honestly don't know how anyone could take any other classes while taking hers. she grades very hard and it seems to take several weeks to get your paper back. with just over a week left I honestly do not know if I'm going to pass.

I took her online for Eng 1, 2, and American Literature. She is a great Prof and always there when you need help. She is overall easy... All you have to do is turn your work in on time and put a little effort out then its an easy A. Enjoyed all her classes!

She doesn't grade how well you write your paper, she grades how well your bibliography is or if it is correct MLA format. I got an A but I worked really hard for it. You will have to write 2 essays and one research paper as well as read quite a bit. I would not take her class as a short semester. Take fall or SMIII not SMI/II.

I took this class online and it was the hardest English class I have ever taken in my life. She grades papers really hard. Even some of the best writers I know had a really hard time making a good grade on the papers. Treats the class like it is the only one her students are taking. Not the class to take when you already have a full work load.

Not very helpful at all. She doesn't grade how well you write your paper, she grades how well your bibliography is or if it is correct MLA format. She expects you to remember everything from english 1 & 2. Not very fair at all. Hardest grading teacher I have ever had in any college.

Well...One thing is for sure. She grades really hard. Never in my life have I made a B on an English paper(and I'm talkin' LOW B), but it seemed that I always ended up with one in her class. However, she is really cool, down to earth, and always willing to help.
