Ria is very kind, funny, and easy to understand and if you need help she will change the way she teaches to make you understand it. The quizzes in this class are group quizzes so you should always get 100% on those and she gives partial credit back on tests.

Comment:

Best teacher I had at SMC. She really helped me understand and learn what I needed to. Math was never my strong suite but she explained it in a way that made sense and didn't make me feel stupid. I would take her class again any day!

Ria is an amazing teacher. I never thought id say this but she makes math fun. She will help you with anything if your falling behind and she will give you a ton of extra credit to help you pass. Math is my least favorite subject and with other teachers I'd fail the class but I got an A in her class. She is a great teacher and I'd recommend her.

The most awesome teacher I've ever had for a math class!!! I was really crappy at math until I got the basics from Ria. Since then I've done well in every math class I've had and recieved much better scores on standardized tests. Get her if you can!
