Dr. Dobbs is an exceptional professor. He's very easy to contact and converse with about any questions or concerns you may have. He's a fair grader and clearly lays out the expectations for the students at the beginning of the course. Assignment deadlines were clearly expressed well in advance and he sticks to the schedule he plans.

Dr. Dobbs was an amazing guy; however, on his exams, he put questions that were talked about on lectures, that we couldnt find in the book, and that werent in any of the review quizzes. After I made a 66 on one of my exams, I was allowed to make corrections. I googled the test question and found an entire quizlet of our test... never used book.

His class is not the easiest, however, he gives lots of extra credit to help out with your grades. His lectures are very good and as long as you show up for class, then you should be fine

I took Professor Dobbs' HIS 202 class before and thought it was difficult. Not the material, but there was just to much to do. Since this was my last required class before graduating, I decided to suck it up and deal with his class. Which was NOT as terrible as I thought it was the first time.

Took it online. didn't listen to many lectures. I just read the chapters studied the practice test and made an A. He scales his tests and gives plenty of extra credit opportunities. Ill be taking him again next semester. If you have a hard time in his course you need to take a good look at yourself. Tests are kinda rough but this is college.

Dr. Dobbs is super friendly and very smart. That being said, taking this class online is no joke. This is not an easy A. Unless you are a history buff beforehand, you will have to work to make an A on these tests. You have to use Lockdown browser so you will have to put in a good bit of study time. Just take advantage of bonus opportunities!

Easy class. Never opened the book. Took this class online. Participation quizzes come directly from self tests that do not count against you. If you study the ID quizes and self tests you will make an A+ in this class. I never looked up the terms or listened to the lectures this was all I did and I made an A in the class. He also scales the tests.

this class online is very tough, the participation quizzes are easy and you get unlimited time, but the exams are backwards and uses questions that you think wouldn't be asked. you only have 60 minutes to complete a 50 question test...definitely not an easy A online thats for sure.

Very easy class. Mr. Dobbs is a very caring and helpful professor. His test will be hard if you do not read the chapters and know the material but he will scale the test to help your grades so that's a plus

I was intimidated by this man having a PhD, but he is extremely helpful and a very nice man. I took this class online, but when I had any questions, I asked them in person. He is a very busy man and wasn't successful reaching him through email. You must know your material and do your assignments!
