Not learning much yet and it is week 8! we have done one practice paper. I am confused on the topics of discussion. We start with one thing and end up with unrelated topics for discussion. He tries to make boring material entertaining, but it is still boring. I'd stay away from this teacher. Confusing!

An amazing teacher!!! 100% would recommend to anyone! He's hilarious, kind and caring and helped me to realize where I wanted my life to go even though he didn't realize it. Seeing him now that I'm out of his class makes my heart happy.

Mr Myers is very loud, I mean LOUD, which is distracting in class, and he rarely makes any sense. I'd avoid taking his class if I could. Sure he is helpful but I leave class every time with a giant headache. Quiet it down please!

Professor Myers is an amazing teacher. Prior to class I had no interest in english at all. IF YOU WANT TO LEARN AND BE EDUCATED HE WILL ENGAGE YOU TO UNDERSTAND THE CONTENT OF THE CLASS. You wont be disappointed.

Online course taken over by Prof. Myers about a month in. Since then, no papers, discussion boards, anything has been graded. I appear to have a D in the course because he hasn't graded anything. Doesn't respond to emails, gives no feedback on essays, just poor grades. I'm a 4.0 student, and walking away with a C. Won't ever recommend him.

This teacher is very helpgul and knows what he wants in a paper. He is funny but sometimes appears to be sarcastic if you ask him a question. One thing he isn't good at is ansering emails or being in his office during office hours.

Not very helpfully. Very willing to tell you everything you do wrong, but doesn't actually help you to fix what is wrong. I ended up doing 5 complete rewrites on one prompt to try, and appease him. I even had my sister with an English Masters help, and he still was negative about the paper. He has a lot of ego going on.

I was very discouraged by this teacher. Comments such as "Remember this is being graded by a college graduate." along with many others were very demeaning. Positive criticism was never received. That being said after making a complaint to Owens directly I transferred to another college that has a more helpful respectful staff.

Mr. Myers has a wonderful sense of humor and applies this to his presentation. Having only experienced this through his writings, I know he belongs in the teaching world. I highly recommend his class, whether it is manadatory or not.
