Richard is a great professor who has a genuine passion for what he teaches. I will admit, when he gets going one a story, it can go on for the whole class period. However, he enjoys his work and his students and it always comes through in his classes.

Not as hard as some of these reviews make him sound. He didn't agree with a single word out of my mouth in the debates or speeches. He is very liberal. But I got an A because I could defend myself.

Richard is nice. He tells ridiculous stories. He's jewish - you can not avoid this. He talks about being jewish, and about his mother, all. the. time. And there's pretty much no way - no matter how well you do - to get an A if you're not a theatre major. C'est le vie.
