Worst class I've taken so far. Questions he asked on quizzes and tests focused on tiny details from the readings and adds unnecessary high amounts of stress to my life. Highly recommended taking this subject with a different professor.

This class was a good choice for me to satisfy my Phil/Rel/Ethical Perspectives credit. I've never interacted with Professor Gallimore before, but I know that the online course is simple. Just make sure to keep up with the due dates for the module quizzes and exams!

Professor Gallimore is wonderful as a person but I personally did not like his style of teaching. He talks for the entirety of the class without any powerpoints. I never studied and missed a few classes and still did fine on the tests. If you're interested in philosophy then you will enjoy his class but if not then it will bore you to tears.

I took this class thinking I'd really enjoy it, but, like most other comments say, if you're not that into Philosophy then chances are you won't really do as well. I didn't do the readings which is probably what got me. We only had four assignments -- tests -- and were 50+/- questions true or false. Tough but good professor. He loves to help though

This class was a lot harder than expected. It was a read the book, take a test kind of class. You take read a chapter and take a quiz, once two chapters have been quizzed, you take a test on the two. The final isn't cumulative, it's just on the last two chapters. Be sure to THOROUGHLY read the chapters and take notes, as well as the canvas stuff.

If you don't LOVE Philosophy, don't take it. He stands in front of the class and lectures the entire time. He wrote his own manuscript and it is just as confusing to read as he is to understand. He is always willing to help. But if you don't know exactly what you need help on, don't ask him... try a classmate first. Expect to read a lot.

As long as you come to class and take good notes and write down everything he says. He will even tell you, "right this down for the test"! so do!! He is very funny and truly cares about the students. You have four exams and he will help you if needed throughout the semester! He is very cool, seeing as his office hours are at a coffee place!!

Great teacher, very clear and fun to listen to in lecture. Tests are not too bad as long as you do the readings and pay attention in class.

Mr. Gallimore is very friendly, helpful, and down-to-earth. The class material was very interesting, however it may be hard to pay attention if you're not interested in the material. Sometimes there were test questions that seemed to be tricky or not worded properly, but he was very understanding and helpful when I talked to him about them.

If you don't absolutely love philosophy, do not take this class. If you do love philosophy, be prepared to hate it after this class. Boring lectures, confusing notes and tests. Either spend hours a day studying or take this course with another professor.

Gallimore is dull and he doesn't make the subject matter any easier to understand. Attendance is not required and you'll be really tempted to skip his classes. Worst professor in my semester at UNCG.

Such a nice guy! Rick was always there to help and if you cannot make it to office hours he also meets up at Tate Coffee Shop. the class material is challening but he does curve your grade and overall its not the worst. It is important to go to class everyday and listen to his lecture!

Hard class. But, he really wants to see you succeed. Very helpful guy, meets at TSCH for his office hours. He is really cool to talk to and will curve grades int he end. 4 tests, all on BB, 33 questions each. Must attend lectures to understand. Take good notes, don't sit on your phone- he will notice and it will affect your grade. Great guy though
