Super nice guy, and very easy to access outside of class. There are 2 midterms, a final, and a paper in this class. Need to come to class because he expands on his slides, and there are little things he mentions that are on the midterms. Would definitely take another class with him in the future.

This was definitely the most boring class I have taken in university. Rob is a nice guy but talks in monotone and reads directly off his slides so it makes you never want to attend class but you can't skip or you'll miss the 10% worth of participation marks.

He is really passionate about what he teach and he tries his best to make the class interesting. This is a seminar class and I have to say that this is the best class that I have taken with him. This class involves a lot of work but Rob is super helpful and he gives good feedback. I highly recommend taking a class with him.

Clear as to what he wants from you. If you show up, you'll pass. Common sense will go a far way. Always available to help when needed. Down to Earth. Very Likable yet tough marker.

He is clear about what he wants for tests and the questions on the test are in no way extensive. I've had him for two classes and have done very well in both. Tests are combination of written, matching, and multiple choice. Be prepared to read!

His lectures are super thorough but he marks extremely specific on his exams. His usual response to a question you get wrong is "I was looking for this specific key word.. you had to have mentioned this word.." Which is a little annoying when you have written about the entire concept but didn't mention one key term. Otherwise mediocre class.

Awesome! Rob is great and tests are not tough. Key is to study the material and know understand his material to get an A on the exams. He always says to come in his office and ask questions. He is a great teacher is helpful. He puts notes on moodle so you can list to him because he talks about examples that you NEED to know of the exams.

Rob is a really great guy and really wants his students to succeed, you can tell he loves the subject. However, his class is fairly boring. He tends to just regurgitate the slides. Tests are all slide based. Paper was a bit confusing. Participation is worth 10% so show up and answer some questions on the readings.

He is a very smart prof, but he is pretty monotone and boring. Very hard to sit through for an hour and 15 minutes, but he is a very helpuful guy. Approachable, and wants you to succeed. Tests are stricly from the slides/notes. If you put inthe effort, this class should be an easy A. Stricly memorization.

Rob is a smart guy. I believe if he came to class un-prepared and simply spoke about the topics he wanted to cover that lecture, the class would run more smoothly. Exams are fair - study your notes and you should be prepared to use examples from the readings. It does help to actually read them. Print the lecture notes off and fill them in.

Often reads directly from his notes. When he ventures off sometimes he re-reads the same info and it doesn't even register with him.
