Bob is one of the most inspirational teachers I have ever come across in my time at Concordia. He cares about what he does and his students. He takes an approach to teaching that covers more than just relevant material, he takes the time to discuss aspects of life in relation to current world affairs. Go to class, read and you'll be fine.

Robert makes you want to go to class. I didn't give much interest to international law before this semester, but the way he introduces it to you is clear, straight-forward, and extremely engaging. Concordia has only a handful of such teachers, take his class while he's still here, you will not regret it.

I loved his lectures. He is very patient, helpful and he definitively knows what he's talking about! Always giving several examples to help you understand the subject. I don't think he is a tough grader, he is fair. READ THE BOOK and MAKE NOTES DURING CLASS!! his exams are easy if you do the very least: go to class and do the reading.

This professor is not for the faint heart! At first he appears as being abrasive, and blunt, but he actually knows his stuff. His lectures are very dramatic and engaging, he really encourages you to think outside the box. He really wants you to learn and doesn`t care about you memorizing useless details. One of the best professors at Concordia.

Bob has a big personality, and he's very sarcastic. He is one of those people you either hate or love. Regardless, he's a very good teacher because he knows what he's talking about, he makes it very understandable, & he's passionate about what he does. Do not go for him if you hate law. If you do like law, you will learn a lot, and won't get bored.

His teaching style is unique and at first odd, and off the topic. But when you look back you realize how everything is connected, and every single word of his had a purpose. He's not there to spoon-feed you, but to facilitate, and damn does he do his job pretty well. So go to class, take notes, listen and read everything.

Had this professor a while ago. As far as the material and content goes he is clear. Study and do well. What I personally don't like is this professor's politics and as a result a sometimes one sided viewpoint which put off my experience.

I love him. If you do what he tells you take good notes and remember the definitions and the cases you will do good. Everything that is in the exams he mentions at one point in class. Has a great TA. I actually learned a lot. If you are looking for an easy class it not it though.

It is the second class I too with this teacher. He is really great, he does his best to make every class interesting. It is hard to get bored with him, he knows a lot and is passionate. I would definitely take a third class with him if it is possible. As for the exam, if you do your readings and a bit of research on your own it is ok.

Cox frequently strayed off topic (by week 4 of course, we were still on "lecture 1") and when he did actually teach, just read from the textbook. He's blatantly biased against any critics of the current health care system, effectively discouraging any real critical thinking in his students. Just spew back the textbook in exams and you'll get an A.

I absolutely love Prof Cox. He knows his stuff and enjoys shearing his knowledge with students. There is a fair amount of reading but for the most part is very interesting. He might seem hard and mean at the beginning, but he has a huge heart and really wants you to succeed and be interested in law. Highly recommend him!!

I loved this professor. He made the class very interesting - subject was easy to understand. I took this class as a summer intensive (6-week semester), and I got an A. I also felt comfortable answering questions and participating. There was one mid term and one final only. I recommend this prof. to everyone interested in international law.

meh, i dont see all the greatness other ppl commented. two books, a lot of reading to do, half of which barely made any sense unless youre majoring in it. he does not let you ask any questions about what will be on the exams. verrrrrry anal about people blurting out answer, MUST raise your hand or he will bite your head off

On of the best teachers at Concordia, even if his status exclude him a bit from the dept. His lectures are great, and you will learn a lot about Intl' Public Law. He is actually a lawyer, and contrary to most academics, he got a real professional life! Great source of inspiration, and actually convinced me to study law.Don't miss him.
