Amazing professor! I hated history before I took this class and now I'm going to take 211 with him because he made it so fascinating. I loved his lectures, he tells them like a story. Listen to the lectures he assigns online and do the focus questions and you'll do fine.

He is one of the most interesting lecturersI have had. There were two times I was sleepy and the room was warm so my eyes glazed, but that was one time in each semester I took him. TAKE HIM you will pass if you do the focus questions and study for tests. Like someone else said get in his mindset to understand the multiple choice.

excellent story teller and if you enjoy history (and i mean real history, not the stuff you learn in high school from the football coach) then take him he knows what he is talking about and he is passionate it is a lecture class so be prepared to take notes, but he gives you a lecture outline and focus quest. for each unit, do FQ and you'll pass.

This man can talk and talk about history forever! He is not completely boring, but just be prepared for a lecture. Also, don't leave all of the material unstudied until the day before the test or it won't work. also, the test questions are hard because more then one apply on a lot, you just have to pay good attention and almost get into his mindset

Excellent teacher. He's got a great sense of humor. His love for history really shows by his lectures, which are very exciting. His tests are hard because of the wording, but studying enough will get you the grade.

This class was wonderful. I love history and I love this man's style of teaching. He tells history like a story, which is what it is of course. It's great. His tests are easy if you take notes during the lectures and he only requires four essays that are easy if you read the chapters. Great man.

GREAT professor. This is a lower-level class- there shouldn't be in depth analysis. He gives facts in an interesting/story way and is a funny guy. Is willing to get off subject to discuss current events. GREAT!!
