Really enjoyed this class. A lot of papers - content, grammar, and syntax need to be spot on to get full points. He returns the papers immediately and will take them to review early. Awesome feedback provided. If you like to write, this is the class for you.

Comment:

BCJ350 is a writing class so yes, there is a ton of writing. Mr Sadler is a great teacher. He cares about the student's grades and will help with improvement. He gives great feedback and is extremely quick in grading papers. Even though I took a writing course online and never met him, through his writing, he seems like he has a fun personality.

Professor Sadler was great. Quick to respond to questions, and grading. I had issue completing the tests, 50 Q's in 30 minutes, but he extended the test to 50 min instead. 4 papers & 1 research paper. The topics were interesting. I did enjoy this class and nice instructor.

Roger is probably the best professor I've had at Western! Most people say this is a tough course but it's clear that they didn't put forth the effort. As long as you keep up with the readings and study, you'll do fine! He'll gladly help you with any problems you may have. Might I add, he's hilarious!

Dr. Sadler is a great teacher in general and this is one of his harder but required classes. However, if you go to class, take notes, & pay attention to what he says the exams will be a breeze!!! I had access to the book for first exam, after that relied solely on my notes and still got high scores on exams (A's & B's) Great teacher I recommend!!!

Roger is the best professor I have ever had. He is a great, genuine, sweet man and you can tell he really cares for all of his students. He wants to you to do the best you can, so do not expect his classes to be easy, you will work for it. But you will want to work for it. His classes are really fun, and he is hilarious. i love BC because of him.

Roger is by far one of the greatest guys you will ever meet. He's a great person and has an amazing personality. The one specific thing that makes him unique is that he's a tougher grader than you'd expect. He strives to see you succeed, but it's rough trying to get an A unless you're good at retaining information.

Best teacher in the department hands down. Knows his stuff and works in the field in the summer months. Accepts new ideas and listens. Always available if needed. After I graduated I worked in TV as a photojournalist 6 years (now I'm in business).His teaching is the most relevant to the carrier.He may be challenging but his class is worth it A+

Roger is my favorite teacher, I would take all classes with him if i was able. He knows his stuff, and is conversational yet informative. No projects ever seem to get 100%, but that's alright as he always has good feedback and will let you earn points back. A great guy, and make sure you ask him about Donald Duck

I graduated two years ago, and I wanted to get on here to say BC Law is the class that has helped me most in my current job in TV. I apply a lot of what we covered in class. I kept Roger's text, and I refer to it often for help on legal stuff. Most useful class I took at WIU for my life after WIU.

Be ready to do a lot... a TV news package every week. But Roger knows his stuff because he works as a reporter in Quad Cities. Lots of great guest speakers from area TV stations. Probably my favorite class at WIU so far.

Really hard class, but you learn a ton. He knows law - cuz he wrote the textbook! There are readings and quizzes every day, and two papers. Great guy. I've never studied so hard to get a B. I'm graduating. I'll miss you, Roger!!

Roger is awesome! His classes are very relaxed, and the workload is pretty simple. He has a ton of connections and experience, so get to know him if you're looking for internships/jobs in the BC field! Really hope I get to take him again, highly recommended!
