Roger is unclear with what he teaches, and expects you to completely understand everything he covers as well as he would. Gives no feedback throughout the term concerning any grades, upcoming projects, or information regarding Labs. Don't expect to ask questions, he answers questions with questions and gets irritated that you don't already know.

Comment:

Tough teacher. He seldom gives out a strait answer and makes you figure it out. Its a pain but you wont forget it later. Very helpful if you ask how to solve something, but prepare to listen for a while and pick out what you need. He tries to prepare you for industry where there isn't always someone to help. Makes you think for yourself.

Doesn't teach, just kind of exists somehow, breathing in tuition money yet not doing anything but taking up space. If he blew away the world would be a lot better off, at least from the students' perspective, not Roger's, he's still getting pay and benefits after 30+ years. Please blow away Roger.

An extraordinarily poor teacher that never gives feedback during the term and is almost impossible to pull useful information from. Clearly, this is a man without the student's best interests at heart. I've talked to many students in the ELT program who feel the same. Chemeketa needs to take a serious look at this non-teacher. Roger sure does know his stuff, but you'll have to put in some effort getting it out of him. You will receive zero feedback throughout the course, even though you are tested weekly. You'll never know how well you're doing, but you can only suspect "poorly" because the class after the test he will attempt (for the first time) to cover the material.

This man is too old to be teaching. Unfit, both physically and mentally. He is always approximately 10 to 15 minutes late to his classes, and he never apologizes for wasting student's time and our learning potential. That, my friends, is the sign of a poor teacher.

I have not been in school for some time but aren't you supposed to get study materials b4 a test not after. And as far as instructing he is no use. He IS a nice guy but I would rather have a GOOD instructor than a nice one. I really think he is going senile. And I don't believe he is following Cisco's curriculum. Double check that yourself.

Probably the hardest instructor on the campus. Learned more from him then any other instructor though. In industry we don't get breaks - he doesn't either.

Better choice than Bates, but not much. They seem to spend every waking hour with eachother, and White has far more potential than Bates. White will, depending on his mood, try to help. Bates is useless all the time.
