YO PROFESSOR KARR IS THE BOMB!! Truly very caring professor, very sweet and her teaching method is easy to follow along. Hate math? math hate you? She's the one to take if you need to pass the course for credit! Statistics with her was probably the easiest math course i ever had! and i hate math! she's truly a gem to the math world!!

Comment:

Took her online course as my first class in 10 years. Never met her in person but just through email correspondence, she is a delight! She made sure to communicate at the start of every week to remind us of what needed to be done and urged us to reach out if we ever needed help and was very genuine. You can't go wrong with her!

Comment:

Fun teacher. Really knows her stuff. Says she give Extra Credit, but in reality, I only got around 1.5% of my overall grade, and I spent a lot of time getting it. Tests are worth a ton of points.

I took her online course, but was able to attend a few classes in person. She really cares and takes the time to make sure you understand what is being taught. She knows her stuff, is creative in her teaching and is very clear. I wish could have her for all my math courses.

Dr. Karr is one of those TRUE teachers in this world. I will never forget her class. I come from a very poor high school experience and always thought I wasn't good at math, she taught me to love it. I LOVE MATH now because of Dr. Karr. I could never thank her enough for the guidance and lessons she taught me.

Very sweet, but will call you out for making mistakes. Does seem to like the students who catch on faster more than those who need more help understanding the material. Exams are tough, but she drops lowest test score & replaces with final if it's higher. I passed, but was intimidated by the class. She's sweet, just be prepared for each class

Dr. Karr is a very caring person. I was surprised to get a call from her to remind me about taking my final exam which I was about to miss. If you study and complete your assignments you will pass. I honestly think I would have done a lot better had I contacted her sooner instead of waiting until things got bad.

If you want to know math and pass this class with an A, then I highly recommend Mrs. Karr. I loved her attitude, patience and dedication. She is very respectful, and I wish she would teach all algebra classes. Very professional and amazing teacher.

Dr. Karr is the best teacher I have ever had. I haven't studied math in the past 25 years and I have always had issues with it, but Dr. Karr is so good at her lectures, she makes students learn. I am passing this class with an A and never thought I could do so well. We do have to work and try to solve the problems. I highly recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Karr is a great professor. Her online class was easy to take. If you do your practice test and feel confident then the exam will be easy. At the end of the semester she will drop the lowest quiz grade and replace the lowest test scores with the final grade if higher. I highly recommend Professor Karr. And she responds fast to emails.

Comment:

Professor Karr is the best teacher I've had at Collon College. She's great at getting students involved so that you understand it better! Now, im not fond of group work or partner work, but she does a lot of partner work at the board that i actually liked! she is very sweet, homework is not required, but do your labs! would definitely take again!

Dr. Karr is the best teacher I've ever had for math. Homework isn't required and she does offer some extra credit. She is clear and teaches with many different methods so that all students can understand. It helps make math less boring. She encourages students to come to her office hours and is always willing to help.

Comment:

She for sure preps you for a future filled with math. She expects you to know the vocabulary clearly, as well as use it. She prefers that you head up to the board and has the students help you with any questions involving homework or problems that she puts on the board. I would recommend her.

Comment:

She is an absolute sweetheart I highly recommend her class if you want a good hands on approach to teaching. She does very well at balancing class direction as a whole as well as one on one time with students. This is one of the few professors that cares about your understanding of the subject as long as you try.

Comment:

Grade consisted of 4 tests and 10 quizzes. No homework grades. The problem with this is that if you didn't do the homework on math lab, you weren't going to be successful on the quizzes and tests. This semester she replaced our lowest test grade with our final exam grade if it was higher. Not a lot of extra credit but she is very sweet and helpful
