This is 1 of the worst Prof. at BMCC. She has a very poor teaching method, if u don't know biology your going 2 have a very difficult semester. Her test are on alot of chapters, NO multiple choice. She doesn't explain the material well at all. You ask her a question & either she talks about something else. I wouldn't recommend her!!

Do not take her class if you have other options (or if you are a cheater). I already had a Bio background, so I was safe but I felt bad for those that don't. Very unorganized, rude, and flaky. Cheaters were brought to her attention several times and she did nothing! Tests are all over the place too. Make sure you know EVERYTHING about HIV for tests

Oh my god, where do I begin? She is the WORST professor that I have ever encountered. She is ALL OVER the place. Not organized, rude, and not clear at all. Its sad because the material is not complicated but if you take her IT WILL BE! I hated her and hated being in this class. BE prepared for 150 "responses" on her ridiculous test!!!!!!!!!

She is NOT an easy prof. You better study all of her notes, the textbook, and ask questions if you dont understand certain things. It is not impossible to get an high grade in her class - you just have to work hard at it. If you dont enjoy studying your butt off, then dont take her - its just that simple.

this prof. is far better suited for research than teaching. Herz has no clue as to the consistencies required of educator by their students. she admittedly teaches in a format which "makes sense to her" however, it appears (having been in her class) that she's the ONLY one it makes sense to! being in her class is like being in the twilight zone!

this prof. has no business teaching. she refuses to review before exams & can't commit to whether you should study from her notes or the book for exams, tho she continually remarks that the book isn't "quite right" on many topics. Herz is inconsistent, disorganized & out of touch w/practical teaching. she could make teaching the alphabet confusing.
