not the math class you want to take if you are a hands on learner. she barely teaches anything in her hybrid class, while there are at least 1 hour of homework per day(monday-sunday), each homework focusing on different topic, which can be really difficult if you don't learn about it from outside sources. his hybrid class is a harder online class.

she is just awesome! I took precalculus after 5 years without math and it wasn't that hard to get an A in her class. She is very smart and kind person. don't be afraid to ask questions.

Very strict on points! Super picky and not a flexible professor. During the in class sessions, shes not good with explaining, takes forever to explain and just confuses you more. So her class might as well be a fully online class instead of a hybrid.

I'm in a hybrid class, and the online work is fantastic and easy. It's something so simple and self-explanatory. Thursdays we meet up, and she's scattered. She docks you off points for so many things. (i.e. she took a letter grade off because I used a paper clip and not a staple.) She's horrible at explaining things if you're a hands on learner.

I took her online hybrid class that meets only once a week and the majority of the assignments and quizzes were online. I was hoping she would do a better job of teaching the class on the days we met. But we were only given more work without much lecture, notes or explanation. I would not suggest this class if you're not an independent learner.

Took prof peterson's online class. The course was well structured and easy to follow. professor Peterson was eager to give feedback and share helpful resources. While she sometimes is scattered, she wants students to succeed and will always try to help and answer questions. BONUS! She gives partial credit on all exams and even drops lowest grades

Absolute best math teacher I have ever had. I took the online/in person hybrid class. Sometimes the course moves quickly through material but she will go around the class to make sure everyone gets one on one help! She will always answer clearly any questions you have which is a real help if you struggle with math. Wish she did math80 too!

So happy I took Peterson for my Math 40 class! She is very sweet and straightforward, no one has explained math as clearly to me as she has. Class: we have online HW, quizzes, and forum posts as well as in-class lectures and exams- all of which are helpful. The only con is that she really doesn't try to form a connection with any of her students.

If you already know what she's talking about, it can be slow and boring, which was my experience. But if math is a huge challenge for you, she's your gal. She simplifies it very well and makes sure to go step by step. She really cares about individual attention as well. She uses MyMathLab for homework so you really don't need a textbook.

Prof. Peterson is an amazing educator. She turned my disdain for math, into a tolerance because of the way she presented the material. She will help you understand until you get it. You have to show up or you get lost easy. She isn't too reliant on the book, since the homework is online. Highest Recommendation I can give. Just do the work.

She's nice, but not a great teacher. Not very good at explaining more complicated concepts. Likes to write just about everything out in "words." IMO too much English in a math class.

Ms Peterson is a very talented math teacher. She cares a lot about her students and if you are willing to work, she will do whatever it takes to help you learn. She has a gift for making complicated things understandable. She is really attractive too, but doesnt ever flirt or show off. With Ms. Peterson, it is all about math, all the time.

She is not a bad teacher, she will explain the problem until you understand. But since i already know the stuffs that she teach, the class is boring for me. The tests and quizzes are easy. I pass the class with A. Books are unless in her class, because she makes her students do homework online.

Sara is really one of the good teachers I have ever had!!! Homework to me is not too much and difficult but helpful though. She always gives right examples in class to help us understand what she's teaching well. Besides, she's always patient and helpful to each student who has questions. I like this teacher very much.

Math has always been an okay subject for me because i have always been good with numbers so i can tell who is good at teaching it or not and Ms Peterson is certainly up for it. She teaches so clear with right to the point examples. There is a lot of work, but the problems are most of the time easy. Tests are based on the homework she has given

Great instructor. Very clear. Do your homework, listen during class and study for the exams and you will do fine. If you expect she'll do the work FOR you, probably not the class for you.
