He does not really explain anything in class, just talks nonsense. You can not work in group on projects even though mostly everything else is group based. If you tell him you do not understand something he will just tell you to go do exercises even though he does not go by them himelf, and he never goes over any of the exercises in class.

Getting an F on the course doesn't make a professor whether good or bad. His teaching ability and respect toward the students are the key to grade whether he is a good professor or not. He is a perfect professor who helps people when you need help. One unique thing about this professor is that his grading policy is depends on the students.

He does not make ANY exception, whether you're first time freshmen or transfer student to college, whether you have no computer to work on, or no background information about the class. You'll have to learn java yourself and being in class is just to help clarify. Often make you feel inferior, his efforts of "helping" includes humiliation.

Dedicated, professional, knowledgeable. One of the best professors in BC's CS department. Gives great feedback, understands students, expects his students to work, but if you are there to learn then there is no way around that.

The best professor in Bklyn Clge Comp. Sc. dept. Spares up time for students to help them in their programming assignments, always available for help. Would always give a quick response upon email. All you got to do is read before every class. He has a google calendar where he puts all the readings, links to assignmts and labs which makes thngs ez

He'll teach you what you need to know and even crack a joke or two, but you'll need to put in the work for a good grade. When it comes to the projects, you'll pretty much learn the basics and be thrown out the nest and hope you fly. If you do, you'll learn a lot.

the material is interesting, the class itself...not so much, discussions were okay. i took many philo classes and i kinda feel that the professor has a lot to do with the success of the discussions since he starts them out asking a question. he didnt give any exams only lots and lots of papers - short & long papers, research paper. He grades fair.

for some1 who knows absolutely nothing about AI, i did pretty well (B-). there was no text book but u had to print out the reading every week which might be 20 pg. The class was boring at times but wasn't bad and he's pretty nice guy (sometimes funny). he's a cool prof.

He was a great teacher. If you read the book, do the homework, and study you'll do fine. His tests are challenging, but not hard if you study. He is a fair teacher and actually cares about his students. Any negative comments about this professor are definitely coming from slackers who don't do the work! Take him!
